This first chapter is really just an introduction and some ground rules, meeting the hosts and all that. Don't skip it though.

You know how sometimes, you really love an MJ in a book where one moment he's the sweetest and the next he wildin and pushing Semaj up against a wall for not minding her business? 💀
And you wanna tell the whole world but nobody cares?
Or maybe you're reading a non-MJ (black written 🙂) fanfic/book and you really want to talk about it with your people but they haven't been put on yet?
This is where we do care and where we wanna be put on to some non-MJ books 😭 we care so much we'll talk about it every once a month.
Every week is pretty ambitious, so the club will meet every 7th of the month cuz issa cute, lucky number 💅🏽
We have two choices we can vote on every month: stay focused on a single completed book for a month OR focus on an incomplete book.
When we read 1 completed book in a month, (hopefully we'll all finish it by then) the host, whoever it is, will organize a "meeting" where they ask questions or point out the best parts of the book for them.
For the incomplete book, it's a bit different.
We'll all still read the same book, even if it's incomplete. We may not finish it together but we're all big people who can finish books by ourselves in the near future 💀
The book has to be at least 10 chapters long.
During our meetings, we'll focus on themes and topics of discussion. It sounds boring but we're funny af and I have faith that our hosts will give us a good time. 😭
The theme or topic of discussion can be "Favorite Main Girls" , "Trifling Scenes", "Trash/Goated Michaels/(Other Male Lead)" etc... whatever you can think of.
That's all for the meetings.
Ground Rules
- Agree to disagree. It's a book club guys 🥴 don't start none and you won't get blocked. Respect the hosts opinions.
- Think before you type. A lot of stuff can be avoided if you double check that opinion or comment you're about to drop.
- Have fun with this! It's not serious, it's not a dissertation you'll get graded on, it ain't nothin but a book club baby 😭
To the hosts: don't overthink your meetings. Just do what you want with it and we'll go with the flow.
Be sure to leave some discussion questions and break up your writing into multiple paragraphs so we can comment along. Spelling and allat is whatevaaaaa , just have fun 🗣
To the members: comment and vote. But mostly comment. This thing will die if you don't comment because hosts are gonna feel like they're writing for ghosts.

Also, go open a reading list titled "Niggaz Library". Do whatever aesthetic, but it's gotta be there.
That's all I can say about that.
Oh wait 💀 each host will have their own "meeting room" book. Be sure to add them to your library when they get published.
