July 9th 1973

8 am
We woke up to Toby screaming to himself, fireface was tormenting him. The brown engine was begging him to stop, he was very unstable and couldn't take it anymore. Fireface pushed him over the edge, by telling him to end it all. He drove off, we immediately followed him and...i knew...

He was gonna commit suicide

Gloria didn't let that happen though. Once Toby and her saw the broken metal Toby sped right to it, hoping he could stab himself. Gloria got in front of him quickly but without one force there was a loud crash. Toby stopped immediately and backed up, seeing the horror on his face. Gloria was pushed into the metal making her side have a hole in it, it was painful for her. She was able to convince Toby to not kill himself, fireface objected making Gloria really pissed. She used her claw and scratched fireface then began to remove his face while Diamond fixed Toby up quickly, who was screaming in pain. Once the face was removed Gloria threw it very far away. Toby was crying and blamed himself for Gloria's wound. Gloria shook her head and hugged him, comforting him. The engines saw the whole thing, well except for Gordon but he heard everything. We are relieved Gloria was able to save Toby.

10 am
We heard familiar whistles from up the track. It was Mavis and Daisy. They greeted us. I looked back at Gloria who was comforting Toby still. Mavis and Daisy looked like they came from a war. Mavis had stone truck parts in front of her with bullet holes and shattered windows. Diasy had her windows boarded up and had black facepaint on her cheeks. To be honest I think she looks good without her make-up. Both of them were filled up with crew workers with full blown weapons out. Mavis told us how the quarry was attacked by people in lorries. Gloria heard of them before, that triggered her and everyone knew it. Mavis continued how the quarry was almost blown up but a worker was able to defuse it. Oh boy its world war 2 all over again...

12:30 pm
We saw Douglas coming down the track. It was strange...where is his brother? Gloria asked him where Donald was. Douglas teared up and just looked down. Gloria looked in horror as she heard on her radio that there was an explosion at Brendam Docks. We immediately went there with Douglas. Douglas stayed behind all the engines. Gloria saw the exploded remains of Donald. A worker explained that a rival company of sir Topham Hatt was the cause of this. Boomer wanted to destroy the railway!! I knew Boomer would do such a thing! But I have to make sure it was him...The worker continued that Donald's saftey valve was shut off on purpose and that made him explode when he overheated. Gloria's anger got very intense, her eyes went into flames like a angry anime character. Turns out Bill and Ben were trying to hide from the men that attacked. Sir Topham hat soon arrived and took the prisoner, the only one who didn't flee. We were all relieved he was alive.

2 pm
Sir Topham hatt was tearing into the prisoner, Gloria was too. I never seen him so angry! The prisoner finally confessed that they had infected the radiation with a chemical that speeds up death and mutations. The explosion was real but it made a nuclear bioweapon fallout! Turns out the rivals wanted to kill the engines and sell their scrap metal to the black market once everyone and everything was dead. Sir Topham hatt ordered Gloria to aim her weapon at the prisoner. I stepped in asked who he was working for, and my suspicion was correct. It was Boomer, Sir Topham hatt's old partner. Gloria fired and killed the prisoner. We were worried about the wound on Gloria that she was exposed more.

Sir Topham hatt told us that welsh coal wasn't a cure, but I had living proof that it was, I told him that when we found Gordon mutated I was able to cure him with the chemical infused welsh coal injection! He thought for a moment and told me that the chemicals i mixed into it may be counteracting the chemical in the radiation. We have hope to save the engines, but we need to stop Boomer.

This became a attack on sodor...we have to find more survivors! We have to help them! This is now a mission we can't ignore now. All the engines and crewworkers with us agreed. Its time to save them all.

9 pm
We have to rest for the fight. This will be super short. We will take back sodor and free the engines from their pain. Goodnight everyone- OH GREAT GORDON IS SNORING AGAIN AAARRRGGG!
