..𝐴𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑑𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒𝑑

  "Dream, wake up darling." Techno says slightly shaking him. "Nooooo.." He replies with a groan. "Come on dear, the ball is in a few hours, we have to make sure everything is ready." Dream simply just turned his head away from him trying to sleep. "If you don't get up I'm going to start tickling you." Dream didn't reply, so Techno kept his word and started tickling.

Dream immediately started to yell and laugh. "Ok! Ok! I'll get up I swear!" But Techno just kept going. "Techno! Please! I will!" Soon Techno stopped and helped him get up. "Well wasn't that fun dear." Dream just looked at his sleepily and rolled his eyes. "Go get dressed dear, I'll get the horse ready." Techno says, and Dream goes.

  'It's too early for this.. I can see the sun basically rising..' Dream thought. Even so, he washed his face, cleaned up a bit, and finally got dressed. He walked out to Techno having food for him. "Eat this before we leave, I hope you don't mind eggs with jam on toast." "That sounds good to me." Dream replies, going to sit down at the table.

  Dream really liked the little burrow, he felt safe, especially with Techno. He looked up at him, he looked calm, which wasn't normally what he looked like. "Do I have something on my face?" Techno says. "No it's just, you look so calm." Dream replies. Techno slightly smiles and says, "Well yes, this is my safe space, and now yours.~" Dreams cheeks light up as he continues eating.

  After a few minutes Techno starts to clean up the dishes and put Dreams cape on for him then his. "Shall we?" Techno says holding out his arm. Dream rolls his eyes and walks past him towards the horse. Techno chuckles and follows him out.

  They both hop on the horse, put their hoods up, and start riding off. Luckily it wasn't snowing so the ride wasn't too bad. Dream actually got to look around the area a bit. He saw some animals and a pretty lake. 'Maybe we can ice-skate.' He thought.

  They soon arrive at the castle and start to walk in the throne room to see all three parents. "There are the lovebirds.~" Techno's mother says. "Indeed, what did you two do all night?~" Dreams father says. "Stop being weirdos." Dream says. "Don't fret darling, don't worry we were at The Safe Haven." Techno answers. "I see, you haven't even shown me where it was, y'all are getting closer hm?" Techno's mom says with a smile.

  "Is everything ready for tonight mother?" He asks. "Yes it is, you can go check if you want." Techno nods as he starts to walk down that way Dream close behind. When they finally entered the ballroom they were both amazed. "Oh wow.." Techno says. "This is stunning.." Dream replies.

  The tables for food prepared, chairs, the thrones for everyone in one spot, the floral designs and ribbons hanging around. Dream entered the room and stood in the middle to get a good look at everything. Techno wasn't even looking at the room, his focus was Dream. He looked so.. beautiful and astonished from it. 'I remember his ballroom not being that big.' Techno recalls.

  "Do you like it darling?" "Yes, I love it." Dream replied, still looking. "I'm glad." Techno says with a smile. A voice behind them appears. "There you two are!" Drista says. "I hope you both like the décor, we're finishing the food." They both nod as she runs off again.

"Since we have a few hours to spare, care to join me?" Techno says. "Depends, what are we going to do?" "Well, we can hang out in the greenhouse, we don't even have to talk if you don't want to." Techno finishes. Dream thinks for a second and agrees. They both go in their rooms to get a book or something to do and start to head to the greenhouse together.

Techno takes off his cape to lay in the grass for the both to sit at. "You can't do that, it will get all dirty." Dream says. "It's fine darling, it's not like I'm wearing it to the ball." He replies and sits down, patting the space next to him. Dream sits next to him and starts to read but has to read over certain sections because he was distracted.
