Third Person's POV.
"Hi, I'm Hakuto. Nice meeting you Kazekage-Sama." The girl bowed.
Gaara was extremely nervous, he didn't know what to say.
"Gaara, just take her with you." whispered Temari.
Gaara cleared his throat and extended his hand for her, she took his hand and the two walked away from the.
"So, where do you have in mind?" asked Hakuto with a smile on her face.
"I-I was about to ask the same question. You decide." Said Gaara.
"Lets just walk, and have a nice talk." She said. "To be honest, I'm as nervous as you, but I'll try to keep the conversation going." she laughed nervously.
"Thank you, I'm not very good at starting conversations, unless you're okay with simple things to talk about."
"Yeah thats fine."
"...uhm, what's your hobbies?" He asked.
That was an extremely unoriginal question. But he had also learned by watching Kyuubi and Naruto that sometimes that the most unoriginal and tiny breakthrough could help change your situation in a battle.
"Reading," Hakuto answered. "And... the harp, a little. What about you, Gaara-Sama?"
"Raising cacti and... looking out for foxes."
"Foxes? Oh, you raise a fox? Thats so cool!" She exclaimed.
"Yeah..." he said nervously.
"And raising cacti? Thats so cute, I thought your hobbies are like... fighting or something, since you're a ninja."
He smiled. "Thats what everyone thinks."
Hakuto glanced at his smiling face. "You're really very kind aren't you?"
"Kind?"
She nodded.
The word didn't suit him.
His past self who had been so full of hatred towards the world would've never imagined the day would come where someone called him kind.
"Thank you." He said with a smile.
As the two continued to talk over there.
To describe the surroundings, it was like a party filled with people, and it was set because of Gaara's engagement with Hakuto.
And Kyuubi is also there, kind of sad.
But she was sure that Gaara isn't going to marry her, she knows that. So she just started hanging out with Kankuro, both of them joking around and stuff while Temari keeps her eyes on Gaara and Hakuto.
"I can see they're comfortable with each other now." said Temari.
Kyuubi lowered the glass of drink to see. "Oh." She said.
Temari and Kankuro glanced at Kyuubi.
"She is beautiful." she muttered.
"Kyu-"
"I'm nothing compared to her." She anime cried and placed her glass on the table.
"What? Says who? You two are on the same level!" said Temari.
"You can fight as well, I don't think this girl knows how to fight. Girls who can fight are attractive you know!" said Kankuro.
She sighed desperately and took a seat. "Wake me up when this nightmare is over."
