But even if she had thought about it, she would have never imagined it the way it was.
She stared without breathing across the large room, into the dark eyes of the hunter, and he looked pleasantly back at her.

Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of someone else, someone she loved.

Noble, even.

That ought to count for something.

She knew that if she had never gone to Forks, she wouldn't be facing death now. But, as terrified as she was, she couldn't bring herself to regret her decision.

When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it's not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end.

The hunter smiled in a friendly way as he sauntered forward to her.

"Please, don't hurt her. Just me."

omgggg! i can't believe i'm writing right now! i have came to the conclusion that mariana's story has been forgotten for too long now. i have so many new readers that have been reading becoming us without even know the trilogy before it. without knowing who mariana is and how she became the person she is in book 4. i don't think i can truly ever write another story without closing out hers. she is my first character. she is my first baby. and it's time to finish her story but from the beginning to the end. i feel like that also the reason why i haven't finished becoming us because i have been stuck on wanting to rewrite her before if that makes sense. i want to get these books done as soon as possible so hopefully i can get it started and finished soon. anyways for my new readers, followers and supporters, i hope you enjoy the books as the many before you have. my books had got taken down and that's why becoming us was the only story up but i'm back and better than ever and in need of finishing so please comment, vote and read. stay safe <3
