Societal expectation

Growing up in this generation is scary.
People always find things to make you feel horrible about yourself.
Even the younger ones now are insecure because of societal standards.
The media fools us to believe that we have to be perfect by having a perfect body shape, perfect face, perfect smile, perfect hair and many more.
However, this generation needs to realise that all people are beautiful. If we were all to look the same the world would be boring, we are all beautiful people. We have a purpose, we matter.
I wish many could see how perfect they are, everyone has their own thing making them so unique. It's sad how we hate on ourselves.
I wish schools and our parents could teach us self love, yet they only care about our grades.
And our mental health?? Or we are just "begging for attention" I wish they could understand the pressure and stress we deal with. We are all fighting battles that no one knows about. We are all strong and beautiful, you matter so much❤️
