Adrien opened his instagram while waiting for his friends to show up to the dance. He had 40 messages, all from girls, most likely asking him to marry him. He confirmed his hypothesis after looking at half of the messages. He slide his phone into his pocket and sighed. He suddenly heard his friends call at him. "Yo dude!" Nino called,
His girlfriend Alya, was not as chill. "ADRIEN COME ON WERE OVER HERE." Nino and Marinette hung their heads into their hand as they watch an already tipsy Alya gather the attention of not only Adrien but the entire party. Adrien smiled and ran over to them.
"Hey guys!" Adrien exclaimed as he greeted them with hugs.
"OMG, Adrien I'm sorry" Marinette said, "We got here 5 minutes ago and Alya kept grabbing drinks while we looked for you."
"It's fine" Adrien chuckled. The group continued to dance and hang out for the next couple hours. They eventually found a table and got seated so they could have food. They all got some burgers. They continued to talk. Adrien got a text as he was taking a selfie with Alya. "What the..." Adrien said and he opened up the message. It was from Natalie.
Natalie- Your father asked my to notify you that he scheduled 4 more photoshoots than normal this coming week.
"What the fuck." Tipsy Adrien said,
"Whats wrong?" Marinette asked.
"My dad scheduled 4 more photoshoots than normal" Adrien said
"What a Dick!" Marinette said. Adrien looked at her in surprise. He had never heard Marinette curse before but she was 7 drinks deep and was a light weight so she was pretty drunk.
"Yea," Alya agreed,
"Yea," Nino said, "Oh dude earlier when we found you, you looked upset. Was that him too?"
"Nah," Adrien responded, "Just some obsessed fangirls proposing to me."
Marinette laughed, "They wouldn't if they knew you personally."
"Ok, OWW." Adrien said, "They wouldn't be able to resist the weeaboo in me." The group erupted into cackles.
"Just announce that you're taken" Marinette said, "that'll get them off of your back."
"OH OH OH, you know what would piss his dad off." Alya said, "If Adrien came out as gay, cuz like his dad uses him as promotion."
"Alya, that ridiculous" Adrien stated, "I'm in."Marinette chocked on her margarita, and Alya beamed. "I'm not gay I was want to piss the fuck out of my dad." Alya explained her plan and quickly whipped out her phone. Marinette quickly ran over to the DJ giggling and Adrien got a rose and hid it in his coat. The song Can't Remember to Forget You by The Modern Ballroom Dance Band came on. Adrien lead Nino onto the dance floor and they started dancing in sync. Every pair of eyes were on the 2 boys. They danced close enough and touched each other enough to make it seemed that it wasn't just a friendly dance. The song started to close and it was showtime. Adrien took Nino and raised him then slide him into a dip. On the final note Adrien took the red rose he hid in his coat and gave it to Nino as Alya took a picture out of the video. Adrien lift blushing Nino, bowed to him and left him red as a tomato in the middle of the floor to meet Marinette and Alya who were laughing hysterically.
"I-I-I" Alya started trying to talk through her laughs, "I think the last time I've saw Nino that flustered was during our 1st time." This just made Adrien laugh and Marinette laugh harder.
Marinette dried her eyes and said, "That was beautiful Adrien, but I don't think we can use the video. Alya and I couldn't stop laughing."
"That's fine." Adrien said, "Did you get a picture then?"
"I hope so," Nino said coming from the bathroom, still as red as a tomato "I don't think I can do that again."
"Don't worry my poor baby, I did." Alya said, She opened the picture to show them. "It was really good too, the perfect look."
"Nice!" Adrien said, "Send it please."
"Already did. "Alya stated. 10 minutes later Adrien posted 2 pictures with different captions on his instagram. The 1st was a picture of him and Nino with a snapchat filter on. The caption said, 'Thanks for all your proposals, love guys.' The second picture was the picture that Alya sent him of him with Nino in a dip, both Adrien's and Nino's hands. touching the red rose in between them while staring deeply into each other eyes. The spot light hovered over them. There was no way to deny that shot not being romantic. He captioned, 'but you should know there's only one for me.'
"Now" Adrien said as he put his phone on silent and slid it into his pocket, "Let the chaos ensue."
