You can apply for a chance to be featured by us if your book follows the criteria below!

1. Your book must be published.
2. Your book must have 15+ chapters or be completed.
3. Your book must be updated frequently, and should have been updated in the past week.
4. Your book needs to have decent/good grammar.
5. Your book must have a decent cover. (if you need help making a good cover, check out our 'Cover Shops' reading list to find someone to make a cover for you!)
6. Your book must not contain any harmful, odd, or toxic content.
7. Certain harmful tropes like 'falling in love with my bully' and age difference romances between a minor and an adult etc will not be accepted.
8. Your work should be 100% yours. Books that are plagiarized, or copied from other books will not be accepted, and will be reported.
9. Your book must be well written. A good writing style, proper dialogues, developed characters, a promising plot and such are important. (check out our 'Writing Tips & Advice' reading list for guides!)
10. Your book should have less than 50K reads. The point is to support smaller authors.

IMPORTANT: For your submission to be considered, you have to complete the following actions. Failure to do so will lead to your submission being discarded.
1. Follow this account @wphiddengems- here on Wattpad, and on Instagram @wattpadhiddengems.
2. Give this project a shoutout on your message board so we can reach more people!

RULES:
1. Only one submission per author. Taking multiple submissions would leave little space for others.
2. If you haven't completed the requirements, or if your book doesn't fit into our criteria, your submission will be discarded.
3. If your book is chosen, we will contact you first through Instagram or Email, as Wattpad DM's aren't reliable.

If your books follow all the above criteria, and if you've completed the steps for your submission to be considered, head over to our Wattpad bio, and click on the link provided for book submissions.
We will be combing through every submission, making sure it fits all of our criteria. Each book will be personally read and reviewed by our team, and will be checked for plagiarism.
If your book isn't featured, please don't be disheartened. There's always room for improvement and second chances.
Don't forget, our goal is to provide readers with good, handpicked books, as well. The above mentioned criteria are the basics of what makes a good book.
