Chapter 4, Range's Wish Comes True

It's 11:26 P.M. Range is sleeping on his couch, not moving a muscle.
He wakes up to a strange noise.
'It's probably just Kapi..' he said to himself. he got up and went to check outside just incase.
'Mr. Kapi, why are you still outside?' Range questioned.
Kapi was a large, grey cat with matted fur and a torn ear. He was meowing, just like telling Range there's something outside thats waiting for him. Range tells Kapi to go inside. Kapi listens and Range proceeds to walk through the grass.
'Anybody here?' he says loudly.
No response. Range looks around. Nothing there.
As soon as he tries to walk back into the house, he gets shot in the chest, falling down instantly.
Lev, the one who shot Range, start's cheering.
"Dude, that's my highest killstreak!"
He continues to celebrate for a few more seconds. He then closes his window and flops back on his bed.

Box Woman heard the gunshot. She runs to the area where Range got shot and sees his bloody body on the ground. She looks back up and shakes her head.
'Wow.'
