It's been a week since the retrieval mission and Naruto had started to wake up. As his eyes adjusted, he instantly knew he was in the hospital. He truly hated the hospital. he remembered the times Doctors and nurses refused him to heal him. Truth be told he glad they didn't since he felt they would try to harm him if anything. He hears a door opening and see Neji.

Neji: Ah you're finally awake??? You been unconscious for over a week...

Naruto: yeah.....Are you okay? What about the others???

Neji: Im fine. Now I can bragged about being shot in the chest with an arrow and live to tell about it like a grizzled veteran* Jokingly* But seriously I'm good and so are the others.

Naruto: Good....

Neji: we actually were more worried about you. Tsunade said Sasuke used that Chidori on you twice. Your Sensei was furious that Sasuke used that Jutsu on you, not to mention trying to kill you.

Naruto: Don't remind me... I can't believe I consider him my friend.

Neji: I advised you letting that friendship go. He only cares about this goal. And everyone else is expendable.

Naruto: Oh trust me, that shipped had sailed.

Neji: That good. Besides me, everyone else part of the retrieval mission came to check on you. The Sand Siblings stopped by as well. They send their regards since they had to go back to their village. Other than that Ten-Ten, Hinata, and even Hanabi visited you frequently to check on you as well. In Shizune case it's hard to say

Naruto: But why? Not to sound unappreciated but I'm curious.

Neji: You are so oblivious..... Well Ten-Ten, has a new found respect for you since you defeat me at the exams and you and Jiraiya bringing back Tsunade. Now in Hinata's case she likes you alot. The reason her face be red around you and the stuttering is because she doesn't know how to tell you her feelings.

Naruto:*shock* H-Hinata likes me???

Neji: Not just her, Hanabi has been showing interest in you as well. If I have to guess. She's going to pursue you for sure when she becomes a Genin.

Naruto: I thought no girl likes me after this Sakura phase and....

Neji: Stop...... Sakura one sided love for Sasuke is the only thing that matters to her. I'm still upset that she asks you to bring Sasuke back knowing how you felt towards her. Hinata and Hanabi are nothing like her. But if you do return their feelings to one of them, just know that my Uncle Will most likely confront you. Especially if Hanabi let's it be known that she likes you.

Naruto: Now that I think about it. Hinata has always been nice to me. She even was going to let me cheat off her during the first phase of the Chunin Exams..... I can't believe I didn't notice her feelings after all this time.

Neji: Well I can't blame you. Ten-Ten had been wanting to go on a date with me but I ignore her cause I didn't value companionship since it's..... Foreign to me I guess.

Moments later the Hospital door opens to reveal Tsunade and Shizune.

Shizune:Naruto thank goodness you're awake!!!

Tsunade: You gave us quite the scare brat. How are you feeling.

Naruto: Better but my body does feel heavy.

Tsunade well you were out for over a week so that's natural. Neji, have you told naruto about the situation????

Neji: No. He'll believe it more if he comes from you Lady Hokage.
