(Harmony's POV) I sat one Evie's bed as she did my makeup. "Okay. Easy on the blush I don't wanna scare him away" I said "not that I could" I said remembering the love spell that was put on him. "Please. My mom taught me how to apply blush before I could talk. Always use upward strokes" She said applying blush to my cheeks "My dad you know is a guy and knows nothing about makeup and I never really knew my mom that well and me and Mal never got to be real sisters" I said kinda sadly. Evie was the only person that knew that Mal was my sister "Well now Both me and Mal will be your sisters. We're gonna need all the family we can get if we don't pull this off. My mothers not a barrel of laughs when she doesn't get her way. Just ask Snow White" Evie said "Are you afraid of her?" I asked "Sometimes. Are you afraid of your dad?" She said "Well I just really want him to be proud of me you know although he doesn't get super mad at me I feel like especially now if I do something to make him mad then he'll just blow up at me. And he's my dad so I know he loves me in his own special way" I said "Moving on. Come see" Evie said As we both got up and went over to a mirror "Oh" I said looking at myself in the mirror "I know" Evie said "I look...." "Say it" "Not hideous" I slightly smiled "Not even close" She said smiling at me. There was a knock at the door and I looked at her "go" she said almost pushing me towards the door. I opened the door to see Ben holding two helmets. "For the first time I understand the difference between pretty and beautiful" Ben said looking at me "You're not too ugly yourself" I said "I hope you like bike" Ben said holding up one of the bike helmets. I looked at Evie before going out the door. She waved before closing the door. We rode through the woods on his bike before coming to a stop at a wooden bridge. We started walking across the bridge and I took in my surroundings. "Tell me something about yourself that you've never told anyone" Ben said "My middle name is Colliope" I said "Colliope?" Ben asked "Yeah" I said "That's pretty" he said and I just kinda gave him a small smile "mines Florian" he said "Florian? How princely" I joked as we kept walking off the bridge. Ben told me to close my eyes to not ruin the surprise I was hesitant but listened anyway. He lead me across to the surprise place. "Watch your foot. You good?" He said and I nodded "open your eyes" he said and I opened my eyes to see what looked like an ancient ruins with vines growing around large pillars. It sat on a beautiful lake with rocks at the floor. "Wow" I said mesmerized by the sight "Go on" he said as I walked over to it. We both sat down on a picnic blanket. I grabbed a circular desert looking thing with some sort of red gooey thing inside of it. I took a bite and it tasted so good way better then anything on the Isle. "Is this your first time?" Ben asked "Well we don't really date on the Isle it's more like...gang activity" I said "Um I meant is this your first time eating a jelly doughnut?" He said "Is it bad?" I asked "You just...I mean" he said as if he was almost scared to touch me "do this" he said before licking his lips and I copied him "Gone?" I asked and he nodded "can't take me anywhere I guess" I laughed "You know. I've done all the talking. Your turn. I really don't know that much about you. Tell me something" he said leaning sorta closer to me "Well, I'm 16" I started "I'm a only child" I said not wanting him to know that Mal was my sister "and I've only ever lived in one place" I finished "Me too. We already have so much in common" he smiled "No. Trust me we do not" I said "and now you're going to be king" I said looking at him "Yeah" he hesitated "What?" I said confused at his sudden mood change "A crown doesn't make you a king" he said looking up at me "Well, it kinda does" I said "No, it....your father is the god of the underworld" he started and I looked at him surprised that he brought my dad up "and I've got the poster parents for goodness. But we're not automatically like them. We get to choose who we're gonna be. And right now I can look into your eyes and I can tell you're not evil" he said staring into my eyes "let's go for a swim" he broke the silence "Hm? What? Uh right now?" I stuttered "Yeah, right now" he said "I think I'm just gonna stay here" I said "No no no come on" he insisted "I think I'm just gonna stay behind and try a strawberry I've literally never had a strawberry before" I said taking a bit of the red fruit "mm" "Don't eat all of them" he said walking away "No promises" I said stuffing more strawberries in my mouth I got up and saw Ben standing on the edge of some rocks. "Are those little crowns on your shorts?" I yelled at him "Maybe" he yelled back. I laughed as he made a loud roar and jumped into the lake.
Harmony A million thoughts in my head Should I let my heart keep listening? Cause up till now I've walked the line Nothing lost but something missing I can't decide What's wrong? What's right? I went back to edge of the platform and didn't see Ben anywhere. "Ben? Ben? Ben?" I yelled out as I ran into the lake trying to find him. I started to sink before I felt something pick me up. Ben took me back to the platform as I coughed up the water in my mouth. "Ugh. You scared me!" I said hitting his arm "You can't swim?" He asked "No!" I yelled angrily "You live on an island" he said "Yeah with a barrier around it remember?!" I said and I could feel my hair light on fire. "And you still tried to save me" he said softly "Yeah and do you thank me? No! All I get is soaking wet!" I said "And this fancy rock. Make a wish and throw it back into the lake" he said handing me a rock I wish I could get this plan over with already I threw the rock back into the lake angrily before standing up and going back to the picnic blanket. Ben got out of the water and grabbed his jacket before wrapping it around me as my hair went back to normal. "Uh Harmony" he said and I looked at him "I told you that I loved you..what about you? Do you love me?" He said "I don't know what love feels like" I said looking away "Then maybe I could show you" he said grabbing my chin making me look him in the eyes "I'd like that..."
