IT HAD been a really busy two weeks for both Clay and Ashley. Clay was busy going into voice lessons for his new song called Roadtrip. He had also been to the studio a couple of times with Corbyn and Parker to help him with his first single. Speaking of single, Clay and Ashley are - you could say, no longer single. Not that they ever officially made labels. But, after having sex with each other for a month and basically spending all Christmas break together, things were set for them to end up together anyway. Neither of them minded the no-label type of thing, but if a stranger was to look at them and the way they act with each other, they would think that the two were in love, which they are. They just haven't said it yet.

In other news, like Clay, Ashley had also been very busy. Especially since she was planning on putting out new merch for her fans. She had been in meetings after meetings, barely having time to hang out with Clay.

Speaking of Clay, it's a given that either both of them would be wary of one another. Especially since unfortunate events such as cheating's happened in the past, trust issues were something they both have. They weren't proud of it and would wish that it could just go away. Not that it was a problem between them, they trust each other a lot. But whether it was trauma or not, there was still a little doubt in them. No matter how much they trust each other. Because of the extra weight they get from people trying to be their friends because they are influencers and then stabbing them in the back which doesn't help either.

Nonetheless, spending little to no time for each other for the past two weeks wouldn't ruin one's relationship, right?

"Dude, I'm scared... I mean I'm probably just overthinking it, right?" Clay said, biting down his nails - a really bad habit he hasn't gotten rid of yet.

"If you're asking for my opinion - which matters the most, by the way - I think you are way overthinking this," Nick rolled his eyes as he pressed on the TV remote to open up the basketball game that was going on.

"I mean, I haven't seen her nor spent time with her- I mean like, I barely spent any time with her these past few weeks," Clay huffed.

"I mean... Have you seen her manager? That is one handsome guy-" Nick teased.

"W-WHAT?! Are you serious?! So, I do have competition..." Clay suddenly stood up from his side of the couch, making Nick jump in surprise.

"Yeah, dude... I saw her on one of her zoom calls calling him and laughing. He looks like a nice guy..." Nick said, feigning sorrow.

"Oh no..." Clay said, his shoulders deflating in defeat.

Quickly, Nick looked up at his best friend's face that looked like he was about to cry. "What a fuckin' simp..." Nick thought to himself, rolling his eyes at his friend.
