Secre sits on the grass, her face buried in her knees. A full moon shone above her in the sky.

"Your friends are looking for you." A voice came from behind Secre.

Secre lifted her head, looking behind her. Standing behind her was Patry, one of the revived elves. Secre looked away, her gaze downcast.

"I understand how you feel," Patry said, sitting down next to Secre,

Secre barely looked at Patry,

"What do you mean?"

"I caused so many humans to die to achieve my goals. Now I have to live with the guilt of what I've done."

Secre looked away from Patry,

"But I couldn't do anything and now Loropechika's dead and Noelle's gone, all because I couldn't stop them."

"I know it's hard but you can't get back those who are already gone." Patry watched as Secre squeezed her eyes shut as he said this.

"But, that royal girl...Noelle, is still alive isn't she?" Patry continued,

Secre opened her eyes and looked at Patry,

"All your other friends are learning Ultimate Magic so they can get stronger. If you join them you could get strong enough to save your royal friend right?"

This was true. If she could learn Ultimate Magic she'd be much stronger than she is now.

But, she couldn't do anything against Megicula this time. Would she really be able to defeat Megicula and Vanica next time?

"But, I don't know. What if Ultimate Magic isn't enough?"

"That could be true, but you don't know that. Anyway, what would that prince say if he was here now?" Patry smiled,

Don't Hold Back You're Own Potential

He was right Prince Lumiere wouldn't want her to give up, and giving up wouldn't help Noelle. Yes, Loropechika was gone, but she still had a chance to save Noelle. Both she and Noelle were Black Bulls. If she'd learned anything in the past six months it was that Black Bulls were family, and family didn't leave each other behind. Besides, she cared for Noelle, just like she cared for Asta, and Loropechika they were her friends. She wouldn't lose any more friends.

"You're right, thank you, Patry," Secre said standing up.

_____________

Secre felt better, she still felt guilty, and she was still upset. But she a little felt better. She'd get back Noelle. When they got back Noelle Secre would apologize to her. For not being able to do anything when it counted the most. Secre didn't know if Noelle would forgive her, but she couldn't think about that right now. Right now she needed to get stronger. But she'd get her friend back no matter what.
