God knows you still do
Your smile warmed hearts and
Your contagious laughter too.
Your heart was made of gold
It came so naturally to you to care
The world needs more of you
Your suffering was just not fair
You touched lives around you
Inspired many too
You lived with so much love and grace
Memories of you are impossible to erase
Silent tears I've seen and cried
They come out pouring like a heavy rain
However, I do find solace
Knowing you are resting and no longer in pain.
