Yoona's Scandals

2015 Scandals

* Her first scandals was all about how she was chosen to join TWICE from SIXTEEN when Chaeryeong, who in some opinions was more talented then the girl. This was quickly covered by JYP for the idol due to the bullying online and how young the was. And Chaeryeong and Yoona are still friends to this day and they were both upset when the scandal happened.

2016 Scandals

* When it came out that she lived with her Grandmother instead of her parents some Anti's pestered the young girl with answers about why she didn't live with her parents. Some fake fans told fans that they would boycott TWICE's next comeback with Cheer Up if they didn't they told why. So she told everyone that her parents were divorced and neither situations were safe for her to live in so her Grandmother got the courts in England to allow her to live with her in South Korea. This scandal really upset TWICE as it took a toll on the youngest as they all knew how much she hates talking about her parents and she hasn't had contact with them since the divorce.

* Then there was also a scandal when Young K posted a picture of himself and Yoona. This was when he was teaching her how to play the bass in their free time. Fans instantly thought something was going on. Which nothing was. But because of her being a minor fans got worried but it was revealed that he was just teaching her how to play the bass and the scandal only lasted a week and fans saw how much Young K was like a dad to Yoona, when they were onstage together in 2018.

2017 Scandals

* Surprisingly Yoona had no scandals in 2017. She was 'good' and had none.

2018 Scandals

* Well this one wasn't on Yoona but on JYP for overworking the young girl who was a minor for most of the year. Because they had the most comebacks they had ever had in a year.

* This wasn't really a scandal but a moment only a few fans had outrage with and that was in the interview for KBS in JYP Nation. This was because she giggled and whispered with Jackson and Chan which made some fans upset. But it was found out that she said about Jackson being a flirt with the MC of that part. And some fans were upset that she was stood away from TWICE but they got over it very quickly.

2019 Scandals

* NYX's main scandal of the year was when it was revealed that Yoona would be in ZOMBIES 2. This was because some ONCE thought that Yoona would be more focussed on solo activities then being in TWICE but that was overshadowed when fans reminded themselves that even though she was in Canada that she was in all of the comebacks for TWICE even if she didn't fully promote with them.

* Her other scandal was in MAMA 2019. Because she told fans she was still recovering and they thought she was being selfish still going to the show to just not perform. But then when they saw she did some fans rumoured that she was still injured and she was forced into still performing but she cleared it up before it even blew up when she explained to ONCE's on a live that night to tell then that she just wanted to surprise them all and make them happy to see her performing.

2020 Scandals

* Yoona's big scandal was when fans freaked out over her 'flirting' with her ZOMBIES co-star Pearce Josa. Due to the 2020 interviews they had. But it was all cleared up when Pearce actually addressed it first when he told people that they were just friends. Then JYP told their fans about how they were just friends and part of their friendship was just them being themselves so they couldn't do anything. As Yoona is a teasing and flirty person.

2021 Scandals

* Yoona has already had one scandal. Which was due to her and Doyeon in Weki Melissa dating. JYP could only confirm this and the two involved have tried to ignore the scandal it caused but they addressed it in a joined live they did. And they told fans about how they felt and they couldn't stop their feeling but the only ones who were still offended were people who thought of Yoona as still the child she was when she debuted, or fake fans and antis.
