Chapter 9 - Cucumber Pranks

"Okay, welcome back to Problem Time!" Ashido grinned, holding up a camera, "So you know, all those memes about cats and cucumbers, right?"

"So today, we're going to leave cucumbers out for five contestants!" Kaminari stuck out four fingers, "Shirou, Shinsou, Reiko, and Midoriya!"

"Okay... I kind of get Shirou and Reiko, because they're both cats..." Sero turned the camera to show Jiro, who was watching news on the television, "But Shinsou and Mido are humans."

"They're both cat-like enough." Kaminari laughed, "Have you seen Midoriya in a bean bag?"

Jiro paused, before she nodded, "That... does sort of makes sense..."

Ashido held up a cucumber, and grinned, as Sato walked out of the kitchen looking confused, "We bought some cucumbers, and a few of them are gone!? Did anyone see them or-"

He noticed the pinkette, and let out a sigh, "So that's where they went. I guess there's not going to be any cucumber sushi today."

"Today's dinner is sushi?" Jiro asked, sitting up, and Sato nodded, "Mostly just soba, udon and sushi. We somehow ran out of japanese noodles and didn't stock up on it."

"Don't worry about the cucumbers." Kaminari turned around to talk to Sato, "Next time we go grocery shopping, we'll get you cucumbers."

"They're not my cucumbers!" Sato sighed, before he went back into the kitchen.

"So anyways..." Ashido turned back to the camera, "Now, we'll just have to find them, and put the cucumber behind them, and see how they react to it! Let's go!"

At around eleven at night, Shinsou yawned, as he walked out into the common room from the elevator. He stretched, before he headed into the kitchen, most likely looking for more coffee.

"There he is..." Ashido whispered, and Kaminari nodded. Ashido slowly snuck up behind the taller boy, watching as the lavender haired boy opened the fridge and rummaged around inside it for a bit, before she crawled out from behind the counter and placed a cucumber around half a meter behind him.

Snickering under her breath, she scampered away, but Shinsou seemed to have heard a noise, as he stood up. Confused, he looked around, a can of cold coffee in his hand, as Ashido scrambled behind the counter, just in time.

Suddenly, Shinsou flinched and jumped, and let out a small yelp as he noticed the cucumber sitting on the floor out of the corner of his eye, nearly throwing his can of coffee into the air in surprise. He froze for a couple of seconds, before he seemed to realize just what the green thing on the floor was, and the taller boy bent down, looking at the cucumber in confusion.

He straightened out, and looked around, blinking, before he let out a small sigh, and picked the cucumber up, placing it neatly on the table.

Shinsou gripped his can of coffee, letting out another long, tired sigh, and walked out of the kitchen, muttering darkly under his breath, "Why the fuck is there a cucumber on the floor?"

Kaminari and Ashido shuffled around the counter so that Shinsou wouldn't notice them, and they snickered as Shinsou made his way back towards the elevators, grumbling under his breath about.

Sero let out a small laugh as he noticed Shirou sleeping on the couch, curled up on top of the heated electric blanket. The black haired boy softly crept over to the feline, and placed a cucumber right in front of Shirou, before he sped away.
