A hard slap to my head was felt as I went to finish my final sentence.
Paimon, who was angrily looking at me was the one behind the hit to the head.
Margaret, the one currently asking us to get Jean's help sputtered out when she saw the scene unfolding.
All the while, Aether held his hands out hesitantly as he watched.
"You've been rude to every person that's asked for help! Be a little more respectful!" The floating girl portrayed as she angrily hovered.
I had yet to raise my head, so I tilted a bit to meet her gaze.
"It's not my fault! So many people are dumping their problems on Jean, and it's getting on my nerves!"
Pouting as I finished, I childishly crossed my arms.
Paimon placed two fingers on the bridge of her nose before grabbing me by the cloth on my back and dragging my form towards the Door of the Knights of Favonious HQ.
As she did, she yelled back to Margaret, whom Aether was apologizing to for my outburst.
"We'll tell Jean, just please be patient."
With that, he hurried to us before the doors closed, meeting us inside.
"Yeah, (y/n)'s right."
Paimon announced unexpectedly.
I became slack-jawed as she hadn't shown that attitude before.
"We could say it in front of those people asking for help though, that's still rude!"
Oh, that's why.
She just didn't want to seem like a bad person.
"Two face-"
"-Baby. Yeah yeah, Aigh!"
"THAT'S NOT EVEN HOW THE SONG GOES PAI!"

When we arrived at Jean's office, we made sure to tell her all about the village's problems.
I didn't like the idea and had planned to sneak off on my own to resolve all the matters to keep them off of Jean's hands. It's not that I didn't think she could handle it, I knew how capable the acting grandmaster was but...
I thought it could have been easier to lighten her load of work.
I could imagine what normal days for her were and it didn't seem fun.
Once we had old her, I continued my train of thought as Paimon and Aether spoke beside me.
Because of that, we didn't notice the teetering blond woman before us.
"Well then, We'll be on our way then, Jean- Jean!?"
Paimon's yelp managed to snap me out of my stupor. That, as well as the loud thunk that was heard at the same time.
