Its been two weeks since my first day of school and I was getting used to everything, the work wasn't that hard and me and Mia were inseparable
She definitely made school worth going to, I was currently walking to Mia's house so we could go to school she only lived a block down from me and we decided we were gonna walk together every day.
I had finally made it to her gate as she was coming out the door "ready to go?" I asked smiling at her
"Mhmm" Mia mumbled as she walked out of the gate I noticed that her vibe was off and that wasn't like Mia at all honestly I know I only known her for two weeks but she was always so happy and ready to go.
"What's wrong girl?" I asked while making a face at her we continued to walk until she spoke "my stupid partner was supposed to call me last night so we could start the project but he didn't so I had to start it myself and I'm dog tired Angie look at me!" She said yelling
I looked up at her and she did had black bags under her eyes but she still looked pretty either way "oh I forgot we got a project in advisory I gotta get my partner today" I whined while slapping my forehead I really wasn't looking forward to it
"But you look fine girl just ask to switch your partner"I said shrugging my shoulders "you right imma tell onnat hoe" she said smirking we continued to walk and joke around till we made it to school.
Skipping to last period...Advisory
Me and Mia walked in 9th period laughing at a TikTok she was showing me "Ms.Burks!! Put your phone away and have a seat" the teacher said looking at us
We both scurried to our seats at the front of the class and looked At each other "alright class! I have to choose the next group of partners for the project so when I call your name come up and get the syllabus and head towards your partners" the teacher yelled while having a seat I will never understand why she talked so loudly.
"Sasha Williams you will partner with Tavares Taylor
"Aaliyah brooks you will partner with Durk banks"
"India Royale you will partner with Marcus Carey"
She continued to tell everybody who they was going to be partnered with until she came to me
"Angelina Haughton you will partner with Dayvon Bennett" I looked at her confused because I didn't even know who that was I got up walking towards her and took the paper
