these pure little diamonds are a part of us

believe it or not, we can't live without them

it's like taking the leaf

away from the stem

they have a way

of freshening your mind

sending a breeze through your heart

liberating you

whether it be from pain

from sorrow

from joy

or from a mere act

your tears aren't weak

they symbolize strength

stand for emotion 

they tell you if the person still has a heart

raindrops

are the sky's tears

those tears that help

crops prevail

so those droplets of water

that fall out of your eyes

they shouldn't be something you despise

for they help your heart prevail
