Ulbert had spent three days within the confines of Carne Village, and he had found the experience to be quite comfortable; the people were extremely grateful that Ulbert chose to stay with them to ensure their safety, and would bring him small baskets filled with homemade food and trinkets at the start of each day. Though the Demon despised humanity for their greed and avarice, he had to admit that the humans occupying Carne Village weren't so bad. 

Every day, Ulbert would wander the edges of the village, at least two of his summons accompanying him along the way, and destroy any monsters that he could see within twelve meters of the small commune. As a result, the number of deaths within Carne Village had fallen drastically, and they would soon have enough people to produce a steady rate of fruit and vegetables for Re-Estize Kingdom.

Overall, Carne Village had improved drastically after Ulbert's arrival, and the people were happy to have the God of Catastrophe as their personal guardian. However, some of the villagers were extremely nervous around the Demon soldiers that roamed the edges of the forest, but believed that they would be okay in the hands of Ulbert Alain Odle.

Ulbert left the village, and began walking down the road in an attempt to find any monsters that may attack the humans. However, as he continued hunting down the ogres, goblins and mutant wolves of the forest, he began to contemplate where he should go next after Carne Village.

Ulbert: I suppose visiting the capital of Re-Estize would be an interesting experience, but I highly doubt they would allow a Demon to enter within their walls.

As the Catastrophe Demon was left befuddled as to what he should do next, he decided to place himself in the shoes of one of his comrades with the hopes of finding some inspiration for what he should do next. Following the barren pathway through the forest, Ulbert continued to contemplate his ideas for sneaking into the capital.

Ulbert: "What would Momonga do in this situation? I suppose he would just disguise himself as a human and enter the capital anyway, but I'm not the best at disguises. I don't even know any spells that could-"

Ulbert suddenly stopped himself as he remembered a crucial piece of information that would definitely help him achieve his goal of entering the walls of Re-Estize Kingdom; Ulbert was now Lv1000, and contained every single spell within YGGDRASIL due to his expansive mana and [job classes].

Smiling to himself, the Goat-man decided to return to Carne Village and inform the people of his plans. Though Ulbert knew that the villagers would be fearful for his short leave, he also understood that they would be well protected by his summons. Fully convinced that his plan would work, Ulbert rushed out of the forest as he finally reached the edge of carne village, his eyes filled with sadistic glee and pleasure.

Arriving at the capital of Re-Estize, Ulbert took in the sights of the fresh green grass that enshrouded the outside of the large stone walls, his mouth raising to form a genuine smile at the preserved plant life surrounding him; back in his old world, nature was completely eradicated due to the immense pollution released from larger businesses. As such, there were no plants, trees or natural wildlife to be found, and towering skyscrapers and drug-filled alleys took their place.
