Bill's POV -

It had been a week since Shooting Star got that invitation. She seemed excited, I mean who wouldn't be....

"Bill! You almost ready?" She shouted from outside the bathroom door.

"Yeah, be right there!" I shout back, fixing my jacket in the mirror once more before leaving.

Walking out of the bathroom I look around, she's not there. 'Where is she?' I think looking around once more. "Where are you?" I joking call out.

Then I hear a door open, I quickly turn around.

"Sorry I took so long, I just couldn't find something to wear," she said gently touching her face, fidgeting her feet around nervously.

"Stunning...You um, you look beautiful Shooting Star," I manage to stutter out embaressedly.

"Heh, you look amazing too Bill." She gives me a smirk. "What, do I look that bad?" I ask jokingly as walk over to the front door. She giggles, "you look just fine!"

I blush and turn away.

A limo pulls up outside and we head out. I open the door for her and she smiles. "Thanks Bill." My heart skips a beat as I get in. "We'll be there shortly miss Pines," the limo driver states.

Once there, we get out on opposite sides.

I sigh and walk over to her. She grabs my arm and breathes out. "Let's go," she states, smiling at me. I smile back as we walk up to the large wooden doors.

She knocks and the door quickly opens.

"Mabel!" Pacifica happily states, pulling her into a tight embrace.

When the blonde haired girl pulls away, she gasps and whispers something in Mabel's ear. The two girls giggle for a split moment. I slightly tilt my head to the side in confusion.

"Bill, Pacifica. Pacifica, Bill," Mabel introduces us. I take the blonde's hand and kisses it. She giggles and invites us in.

Mabel's POV-

"He's such a gentleman-" Pacifica jabs at my side with her elbow. I blush and jab her back. We both end up laughing at the end. "Enjoy yourselves. If you have any questions feel free to ask me."

"Oh! Pacifica, here," I state, holding out a bag of stuff.

"You know you didn't have to bring a present." I shrug. "I know. I just wanted too."

She skips off and I turn back to Bill. He really does look amazing tonight. "So," I start, "what do you want to do first?" He looks all around the room, then back at me. "What do you want to do first?"

I feel all giddy inside.

I take his hands and pull him close to my face, "let's go to the snack table! I'm hungry." I drag him with me over to the snack table. With sparkling eyes, I start loading my plate.

I end up eating my entire plate, which, mind you, had a lot of food on it. Bill didn't have too much on his plate, but seemingly had enough. "I'll be back," he states, taking both our plates away. I'm left alone. 'What to do now?' I question in my head.

I stand up, but quickly sit back down feeling a bad pain in my right lower abdomen.

'Ow...the hell?' I think, slightly clutching it.

Bill then comes back.

"You alright?" he asks. I nod. "Yep! Lets go dance," I suggest, lying to him about being okay. It doesn't look like he believe me, but he doesn't pester me about it any longer.

We get out on the dance floor and dance until our feet feel like falling off. Bill's actually a good dancer. He's not the best at freestyle, but when it comes to formal dancing, he's amazing.

My heart thumps wildly in my chest.

'He's- shit! There's that pain again..' I think, squinting my right eye closed. "Are you sure you're-"

I cut him off, "yes! I'm just gonna head to the washroom real quick-" I sputter out as I brush past him and over to the washroom. Once in, I lock the room and clutch my side. I almost start crying. 'It's getting bad!- ow!' I mentally yell at myself.

I decide, while I'm there, to relieve myself.

After doing so, I wash up and head out.

'Now, where did you go?.....Bill?' I think as I look over the room to find him. When he's finally spotted, I gasp. Some girls are flirting with him and giggling. I get an odd feeling and make my way over to him.

"Hi, sorry I took so long. There was a line," I lied.

The girls seem to back off and walk away. "Are you sure you're one-hundred percent okay?" he asks with concern in his voice. "Tell me the truth."

I feel my heart drop.

I sigh, "my, side hurts. I though it may have been from eating- bit I could be wrong..." I admit. "What kind of pain?" he asks, turning to face me. "Spiky-" I grasp my side as I spoke of pain hits me like a freight train. "That's it. I'm taking you to a hospital," he states as he takes me hand.

"You two leaving so soon?~" a voice coos from behind us. We both blush.

It's Pacifica.

"Yeah, I hope you don't mind. I'm just feeling a bit- tired is all," I lie again. She smirks and I get all flustered. "Well, alrighty then. You two have a wonderful night~" she coos once more before turning back to some other party guests.

I whimper out by accident. I meant to say something, but nothing if that sort came out.

"Let's go."

Bill takes me out of the building and we start to walk down the long driveway.

He's swiftly walking ahead of me, while holding my hand, dragging me along. "Bill!" I cry out. "Please, stop for a second-" I cover my mouth, realizing how weak I sound. "Sorry," he apologizes. "What's wrong?" He turns to look at me.

"It hurts to walk..." I admit with tears in my eyes. They're clouding my vision, so I can't see the face that he's making. "Climb on," he states, bending down so I can climb onto his back. I do and he starts walking again.

The large gates open and we're let out of the large manor.

While walking down the long darkish road, I get a sinking feeling that we're not alone.
