Ventis pov
A school festival was coming up I was up soon me and Xiao planned to hangout together since Hutao and her class were doing something
I sat at the lunch table waiting for Xiao and Hutao I was on my phone Hutao came over and sat beside me "Sooo.. Venti will you do something for me?" I looked at her scared "What is it?" She smiled and put her head on my shoulder "So we are a girl short.. for our maid café that we are doing and I was wondering if you could dress up as a girl" I looked down and sighed "But me and Xiao were supposed to hangout" She sat up and patted my head "I'll get you two to go on a date one day" I looked at her and smiled "Okay then I'll help out" Xiao walked over and sat beside me as well "What are you two talking about?" I glared at Hutao begging for her not to say anything about it I knew Xiao would pick on me jokingly obviously but still "I need to help Hutao with something the day of the festival so we won't be able to hangout" I looked at him "That's okay I'll just hangout with someone else" I put my head down he ruffled my hair "It's okay Venti" Hutao patted my back "I hate you both" Xiao sighed "Why me..? I understand why you hate Hutao but I did nothing" I sat up and looked at him "You aren't even upset that we can't hangout" I got up and walked away
Xiaos pov
I went to go find Venti he seemed upset but I mean so was I me and him planned to hangout of course I'd be upset that we now couldn't I checked that washroom but he wasn't in there I walked up to the roof I opened the door seeing him talking to his friends I didn't say anything I just closed the door and walked away I went back to Hutao who was still sitting at the table in the cafeteria I sat down "Sometimes I think that Venti doesn't like us or just doesn't want us around" I frowned Hutao looked at me "What makes you think that?" During the festival I was hanging out with a group of people Xingqiu, Chongyun, and Yanfei she has a crush on Hutao but only I know about it we walked into the classroom Hutao said she was having the maid café Amber lead us to a table we sat down I put my head down sighing Hutao came over to us hugging me I groaned and looked at her "Hey.. where's Venti?" she smiled and walked away I looked at Yanfei who was blushing like crazy I laughed a bit I turned around to see Venti getting pushed out of the room I looked away putting my head down he came over and ruffled my hair I didn't wanna look at him "Are you okay Xiao?" I nodded a bit "Venti you look kinda hot in that" Xingqiu laughed a bit I looked at him glaring him down he rolled his eyes I looked at Venti he seemed embarrassed Hutao came back over and sat on Yanfeis lap talking with her I sighed and got up I sat Venti down and glared at Hutao "This is not okay Hutao why would you make him do this" I looked at Venti "What is she giving you I'll do anything if you leave with me right now" He looked at me "Go on a date with me" Chongyun and Xingqiu laughed "Wow he didn't even think about it" I blushed a bit looking away "U-uh well I don't know about that" He looked at Hutao she just got up and took him away I sighed and sat down "Shit.." Ventis pov
Hutao just let me go earlier when she took me to the back room I just started to cry I was now sitting outside on a bench when someone came up to me I looked up seeing Zhongli I got up and hugged him tightly he sighed and hugged me back "I heard what happened from Hutao I came as fast as I could I even left class for you.. Are you okay?" I just started to cry again he picked me up and started to walk I put my face in his shoulder
He brought me to his car I just cried in there he was being very gentle I didn't know what to do I was so tired of crying but I needed to he buckled me up and started the car "Let's go for a drive are you hungry?" I nodded and sniff he ruffled my hair "Okay then.."
We went to get food then go for a drive after we were done that we went to go see a movie he asked if I wanted to stay the night at their house in his room but I just wanted to go home when he dropped me off he told me to text him if I needed something or somebody to talk to I nodded and went inside
