Eruri Headcanons (fluffy ones)

Okay so I'm probably gonna do these for a bunch of ships I have, starting with Eruri because it's my OTP. There are gonna be angst ones, and fluffy ones. These make me so soft 🥺❤️

They slow dance in Erwin's office in the middle of the night. Levi always steps on Erwin's feet because he's not the best at dancing but Erwin doesn't care because it's adorable.

Levi talks a lot only when he's around Erwin, and during his mini rants, he always gets a stutter and stutters on his words from talking too fast (me everyday 😩✋🏻) - Erwin finds it sweet and always helps him get back on track

Erwin pays SO MUCH attention to the things Levi says. It's rare that Levi opens up to him so he is sure to cherish it every single time and could literally recall it word for word if he was asked.

Whilst Erwin was teaching Levi to read, he would read to him on the nights. So with the few words Levi was able to understand, he would go to a bookstore, read the blurb of books and if he found them interesting, he would bring them home to Erwin for him to read to him on a night.

Though Erwin could very well afford it, they never had fancy dinner dates in restaurants. Instead, they go for small picnics in the forest behind HQ with foods Levi had made for the two of them. The blanket is always freshly cleaned and they take their shoes off before sitting on it, but they try to do it every time they have a day off.

Erwin is the only one Levi lets bandage the few injuries he gets. If someone else ever tried to touch his wounds, he would go almost feral and attack them.

Erwin is the only one who can calm Levi down from his bad moods. He pulls him either to his chest or onto his lap and strokes his hair softly, and that's enough to calm Levi down.

Levi is the only one Erwin trusts full heartedly. He trusts him with his feelings, his thoughts and his heart. Levi would never take advantage out of this.

They went to a ball once to interact with sponsors when they were only fresh as a couple, and Erwin could immediately sense Levi's panic. He didn't care about anything else in that moment but getting Levi out of there, even though it brought harm to the corps.

Whenever Levi actually manages to get sleep, Erwin marks it down in a small journal he has and then gives Levi the day off. When Levi wakes up, he is met with a bunch of praise and love from Erwin, who reminds him how proud he is of him. It's a way of trying to encourage Levi to sleep more, and it slowly works.

During thunderstorms Erwin will get into the closet with Levi and hold him until it's over.

Erwin leaves Levi small notes when he gets up in the morning. Some with small jokes on them and others with gentle reminders of how much he loves him.

Levi walks around HQ with Erwin's jacket on when it's cold.

Whenever they have to go to conferences and meetings, Erwin does Levi's bow tie for him because he doesn't know how.

They cuddle by the fireplace in the winter.

They eloped a year after they got together, with Miche, Nanaba, Hange and Moblit as their witnesses.

Okay and one sad one for good measure

The day before the Retake of Wall Maria, the two of them finally got placed on the waiting list to adopt a child. Levi had to cancel that on his return, because he couldn't raise a child without Erwin.
