" Chongyun! I'm home!!" My husband called.

"Welcome home Xingqiu! How are you? I made dinner! " I said back setting the table

" oh dear, chongyun, i had such a terrible day! They kept putting more work on me, and the lousy boss didn't do anything! " He vented to me sitting down his things.

I listened kindly before saying, " Well maybe some noodles would cheer you up?"

"Of course!!!" He answered happily.

Outside the apartment
2 neighbors talk discussing something... Strange...
" Yeah i saw him! i know it was! It was the immortal exorcist who killed 4 gangs in one bloody night!"

"In our neighborhood?!"

" Yeah he was wearing a pink little apron with a little cat on it!"

" Your CRAZY!"

" Believe what you want! I know what i saw."

Back inside the apartment

I am chongyun the immortal exorcist.

Former, that is.

I have given up that life. I may have been the most wanted gangster a while ago but now I'm a loving house husband! Crime of all kind was the old me. Now, I'm doing my very best to make the one i love happy! It's in the past now I'm happy with the simple life.

As a house husband I'm currently making a bento lunch. My neighbor xiangling sent me a recipe for some a yummy bento.

" Alright I'm going! Bye yun yun! I'll be off!" Xingqiu said in a hurry.

" Bye!" He slammed the door behind him

Now what to do that he's gone.....

I suppose i could clean up..?

" Alright 'roomba' let's see how well you clean!"

*beeP BeEp*

*VrrrrRRrrrrrRrrrrrRr*

"WHY AREN'T YOU GETTING THE CORNERS! THAT'S WHERE ALL THE DUST COLLECTS!" i shouted at the dumb robot " Lousy piece of junk, for what i paid you should clean the celling!"

" I'll just do it myself later... Maybe should text Xiangling the bento, It's her recipe anyway. "

" .... *snap*....

Hmmm.... Yeah it's cute.

Wait.... Somethings not right....

XINGQIU FORGOT HIS BENTO!!!"

I slammed the lid on it and shoved it in one of my favorite briefcases.

I quickly rushed out of out apartment with the briefcase in hand  hopped on my bike and started to pedal to xingqius office.

" STOP!"  An officer yelled.

So i came to a skreching halt, as a new law abiding citizen.

He looked horrified. I guess that scar over my eye really was menacing. I thought the apron would help with that. ....

" What's in the case..?!"  He said nervously.

Maybe if i smile I'll look less menacing so he knows i don't want or hurt him.  I've given up that life! I thought proudly once again, reminding myself.

I gave the officer my best smile hoping to de-escalate

" WHY ARE YOU GRINNING LIKE THAT WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?!" The officer yelled even more scared. I realized this was going horribly.

" ... The case. It's just-" i got cut of by him-

" DON'T HURT ME!"  He yelled.

" - A lunch for my husband."  i finished opening the case to show him.

" Oh... I see....Uh...Sorry for the trouble... S-sir." The officer apologized.

" I'll be going then. Have a good day!" The oddicer waved at me. I guess looks can be deceiving huh. Well he might have been right not too long ago.

Finally i arrived at xingqius office. With only a few stares from people. Looks can be deceiving i thought to myself knowing i had done nothing wrong this time.

Going inside was greeted with the secretary gyanu who had grown accustomed to me due to my husband showing off so many pictures of us together. I could barley endure him taking the many photos but making everyone here look at me squint my eyes to try and see in the bright sun must have been torture.

" Oh hello chongyun, what brings you here today?" she asked sweetly.

I held up my case " Xingqiu forgot his lunch."

She shook her head in a disappointed teacher kind of way "He's upstairs. But uh before you go could you send me the recipe xiangling sent you for it? I'm jealous. "

" How dare you assume that Xiangling sent it to me! I could have made it up al on my own."

" Send me the picture you took of it too."  she insisted.

" ...Fine."

she made sure no one was listening to us before saying " it is vegan right?"

" it can be made that way." i said reluctantly, then making my way to the elevator.

The floors dinged past rapidly till i got to his floor. And upon seeing the sea of cubicals i decided to yell to get his attention.

" HEY! I NEED TO TALK TO ONE OF YOU! WHERE CAN I FIND XINGQIU?!" i said in my loudest voice seeing everyone turn at me. When i finished, xingqiu stood and waved hailing me over. People stared as i walked over but i didn't care.

" You forgot yout lunch." i said handing him the briefcase.

He sighed " i almost thought I'd have to eat vending machine snacks for a lumch! You're a life saver cho-chan!" xingqiu said accepting it with delight and giving me a small kiss on the cheeck before heading back to work.

And as i walked home pondering the day an all the weird stares i get. I reminded myself how much i love Xingqiu, and how he helped me when i was hurt. I would kill for him, and i have changed my ways to be a simple house husband for him. I love him an he Loves me, that's all we need.

(This chapter is unfinished and a draft. But since we hit. 50k, I'll publish it.) i said months ago

Well we hit 50 k.... Uh hi.... Yeah.... I guess i hope you enjoyed the book this was the only chapter i had left.
