chapter 19

Taehyung POV

It has been more than a month already after Y/N's movie was released. It has been a blockbuster so it made her piled up with lots of interviews, press cons, photoshoots and even offers from lots of film production companies for her to star on their projects on hand. Taehyung knows already Y/N's short vacation is over and they even barely texted.

Taehyung has been busy also with some shoots and even for some music production. It made him really occupied and it quite frustrates him that he and Y/N barelt talk to each other lately.

He understands, of course, but it saddens him that they are in this type of system. No matter what they do and how hardworking they can be, there will be always times like this.

Taehyung has been more proud of Y/N's success. After meeting Y/N, he now sees why Y/N deserves the world and even the whole universe. Y/N has a great personality, great skills, works hard for everything and she just loves everyone. He hopes that Y/N will get to love him someday, too.

In all honesty, he wanted to bring back time when he first met Y/N back in the USA. He just wanted time to stop and just be with her. He misses the way she held him, comfort him whenever he's nervous around her, the all day text and video calls with each other. He just basically misses being normal with Y/N.

Even the media had stopped posting articles between them. Almost all of their has settled down that the two of them are really just good friends with each other. He somehow wishes they'd be caught dating but they are not even together. No hints and no idea at all.

Taehyung is somehow confused. He already admitted that he likes Y/N yet he can't even define if she likes him back. Yes, the two of them became sweet but it's not enough for him to point out that she likes him, too.

What's good about Taehyung is he wanted Y/N to have all the time in this world just for her to decide if she wants to date him. However, knowing that both are busy, it made him feel like the chances of being with Y/N are getting slimmer.

He's now in his room writing a song. He pours his heart and soul out to this song he has been working on. 

Taehyung misses Y/N so bad and it's not helping that she keeps on posting selfies in her instagram account. He just misses her more because of that. His dummy Instagram account became more active than ever. He still watches her #tuesdaynightlives even though she films it shorter more than ever and he always rewatches the interview they had with Jimmy Fallon. He just wish that the words you said in the "Blind Date Simulation" is real.

Taehyung even considered accepting offers that they should do a movie or drama together but he knows for sure that HYBE won't allow it since they have lots of songs to work on for their upcoming album. 

He paused from writing then just laid his head back to his office chair. He stares at his blank ceiling. He wish that he can do something about this emptiness inside him. He then closes his eyes.

Taehyung remembers everything from the start. the two of them met, him becoming a wreck nervous around her, the shoot of her official mv that, the way he felt Y/N's skin when she sat on his lap, the interview with Jimmy Fallon, all the moments they spent together in the studio, the lunch party, the sudden coffee date and confession, and what he can't forget the most is his last day with Y/N in her apartment.

Taehyung saw Y/N closing her eyes when he's about to kiss her. If that's going to be the last chance of him being with her, he will forever blame his friends for ruining the moment. Taehyung somehow believed that there's going to be a next time. He always knew that there's going to be a next time.

"Taehyung, open the door please."

Taehyung has been more private lately. His friends are also aware on how Taehyung misses Y/N and it saddens him. Taehyung stands up then unlocks the door to see his very worried soulmate holding a glass of warm milk

"Hi Chim" he smiled sadly

"Hey Tae. You should drink this and get some rest." Jimin then places the glass of milk on Taehyung's hands gently "You've been tiring yourself to sleep lately and i don't want you to look like this."

He took a sip of his warm milk. When he finished gulping and wiping some milk on his mouth, he looks down on the floor and sighed "I'm sorry"

Jimin became instanly sad and hugs taehyung "We know you miss her, we miss her too. All of us have been busy lately, the thing that we can't avoid."

Taehyung hugs Jimin back "I'm afraid that we'll drift away from each other."

"You two won't be drifting away from each other." Jimin assures while massaging Taehyung's back "I know you understand what's happening around her but always remember that being patient has a great reward."

The two of them pulled away from the hug. Taehyung somehow smiled but still looking onto the ground "I guess you're right." he finished the glass of milk then returns it to Jimin. "Thank you, Chim. You're the best."

"As always." he laughs. "Goodnight" then Jimin closed Taehyung's door.

He lays down to his bed then eventually remembered that December will be in the following months. It will be christmas, his birthday and new year's eve. He hopes that for this coming Christmas and his birthday gift, he's going to celebrate it with you.

Y/N POV

Y/N lays down in bed staring at her blank ceiling. Her schedule has been hectic and made her busier than ever. She's at the point of almost going home just to sleep.

She has apologized to her countless friends in the industry for not entertaining their messages. What is she is more worried about is that she barely texts back to Kim Taehyung.

It's not that she intends to not reply to most of his messages, it's just because her career has been taking a toll on her. She frowns at the thought then she decided to take out her phone to check up on him before she goes to sleep.

Y/N:
hi tae, i just got home

He replied in an instant

Taetae 💜:
great! how's everything?

Y/N:
tiring as ever. and hey i wanna tell you something

Taetae 💜:
go ahead, shoot

Y/N:
i'm sorry for not replying lately. my schedule is just crazy. :( i often feel sad about forgetting to reply. 

Taetae 💜:
no problem, really. this is how our jobs work. we've been busy writing and producing a song too. but, i still miss you. :(

Y/N:
i miss you, too. ❤ i gtg to sleep. i'll text you if i have a spare time to escape for tomorrow's meeting, okay?

Taetae 💜:
take your time. goodnight y/n, i miss you too. 💜
