3-The storm

On the way home from Walmart it began raining, Hard,

"Dream. How long till we are home?" George asked

"The traffic is bad cause of the rain, i don't know" Dream shrugged

The rain made the morning sun rise dark,

It was 6:30am, The sun should be rising, Except it's not

George put his head in his hands, trying to think of anything other than the dark clouds

"Goerge here," Dream gave him his phone,

"Call Sap, tell him there's a storm coming He'll know what to do"

George gulped calling Sapnap,

"Dream what the hell?! It's 6:40am?!" Sapnap yelled in a tired voice

"Sorry." George said "But uh, dream said to call you and tell you there's a storm on its way, we are driving through it currently"

"Ah shit, Okay, thanks george" Sapnap said ending the call

"We'll be home soon, i promise" dream smiled

As dream pulled into the drive he grabbed his bags and they both ran inside,

It was Now 7am, the grey clouds outside made everything dark

Goerge turned on the main light, and sat on the couch, fiddling with his hands,

"I say movie day" sapnap walked downstairs "Also good morning"

"Morning" dream said grabbing a towel and began drying his hair

"Is george okay?" Sapnap whispered to Dream

Dream shrugged "i don't know i left him in the car for like 15 minutes while i went into walmart and when i came back he was like, shaky"

"I hope he's okay dude" sapnap said

Dream nodded throwing the wet towel in the  laundry basket

All three of them sat on the couch

"What movie?" dream asked putting his feet up,

Both boys shrugged

"Wow okay," dream rolled his eyes putting a random Movie on,

They watched around 2 movies and by the time they finished it was lunch,

"I'm getting food, what do you guys want from the fridge,"

The only source of light in the room was The lamps and the Tv

It was thundering and lightning outside,

Goerge had calmed down and was half lying down on the couch,

Dream returned with some chips in a bowl,

George put his legs on dreams lap as he lay down

Sapnap was sat on a different couch, minding his own business,

There was a rumble outside signalling the thunder followed by a massive bang

The lights flickered before they all turned off,

Goerge sat up accidentally kicking dream,

He panicked searching for his phone,

"Where's my phone." he whispered

"George it's just a black out," Dream sensed georges tension

"Where's my fucking phone, or a flashlight" Georges eyes darting around looking for anything, nothing, Pitch black.

"Where are you.." George whispered

"George? I'm here," dream stood up walking near to george placing his hand on georges shoulder

"Can i have your phone" George asked keeping his eyes closed

dream hands his phone over, George turns it on, and clicks the flashlight button, he shines it around and takes a deep breathe when he is able to see dream and sapnap

"George are you sure nothing is going on?" Dream asked,

"Uhm.." George fiddled with his hands

"George. you can trust us, we're your best friends you know that." dream sat next to him

"I-" George put his head in his hands

Dreams phone died, meaning his flashlight was turned off

George choked on his breath, trying to hold back tears

everything flooded back to him at once

all the hitting. all the punching, Everything

George could hear someone talking,

It sounded like Sapnap, but it wasn't.

"Please i need a light." George gasped

"Awe is georgie scared of the dark?" Sapnap laughed clearly joking, trying to make light out of the situation

George didn't take it that way,

Was Sapnap, Mocking him? making fun of him

"S-STOP!" George yelled breaking down,

"Sap go to your room for a minute please." dream said, Sapnap nodded and walked to his room upstairs

"George, look at me" Dream said

"I- I can't, I can't see you." George whispered

Dream got up and got a flashlight from the kitchen, he turned it on and walked to george

"i just wanna be in my room." George looked down

"Okay." dream sighed giving george the flashlight

George took the flashlight and walked to his room, locking the door,

dream walked up to sapnaps room, as he walked in he saw sapnap crying

"Hey, What's up?" dream said opening his arms which sapnap accepted

"I feel bad, i made my best friend fucking cry," Sapnap muttered

"It's not your fault, i promise, can i use your phone? yours is the only one with battery" dream asked

Sapnap nodded giving him his phone

Dream searched into google

Nyctophobia,
Fear of Darkness

People who have this may get panicked when it's dark, will claim they can't see even if there's still a little bit of light.

Dream showed this to sapnap, sapnap read it slowly before looking up

"You think he has it?" sapnap asked

dream nodded slowly

"That explains the LEDs in his room, why he wants the lamps on all the time, and the panic during the black out" sapnap sighed

"Don't tell him we may know.. I want him to tell us on his own terms." dream said

sapnap nodded agreeing

"I just hope he's okay, he's locked himself away" sapnap said

"I know.."

Both boys heard a second bang followed by a scream.
