Yeosang was on the couch watching some movie on Netflix when he heard a car pull up and a door open and close. He tried to see who it was without getting up but was unable to see more than just a black car. Soon after, the front door opened and revealed a rather upset looking San.
"Hey, you okay?"
"Fine. I'm pissed at the others"
"Why, what did they do?"
"Nothing! They keep asking me about you or saying things like how I'm never with them and neither are you and what could possibly be going on, but god forbid they actually came here and see for themselves. If they want to know they should ask you"
"Yeah but-"
"I mean how can they be mad at me for being a good friend?!?!"
"Okay, San, calm down" Yeosang chuckled and got up.
He took his friend's arm and made him sit down on the couch. He gave him some of the chips he was eating, covered them both with the blanket and played the movie he was watching. San smiled and relaxed on the couch, his hand going to ruffle his friend's brown locks.

06:36pm
A constant buzzing woke up Yeosang, he opened his eyes but didn't move. He looked around, saw the movie had ended and felt San's head still lodged in the crook of his neck. He couldn't see passed it where the clock was so he had no idea what time it was or how long had they been sleeping.
The phone kept spamming with messages which was starting to annoy him. He tried to find the phone but it seemed to be somewhere on San's body. Following the buzzing, Yeosang found the phone tucked under the ravenette's right leg.
He tried to get to it but stopped when he felt the other stir, even though he had stopped moving, Yeosang saw San open his eyes and yawn.
"Sorry, but someone is spamming you and it's driving me crazy!" Yeosang wasted no time in body searching his friend before finally grabbing the damn phone to see who was texting his friend.
"Mmm, who is it?" San asked as he sat back up on the couch.
"Wooyoung" Yeosang whispered handing the other his phone.
"What does it say?"
"He says he's sorry for how he acted earlier and wants to know if you can come over to his house to talk"
"Urgh"
"What, isn't it supposed to be good? He wants to talk to you and make things better"
"I know Wooyoung, it won't be talking. One of us will end up yelling and I don't want to get into all of that"
"Oh come on, you should go and talk with him. But you know, talk" Yeosang chuckled and tossed the blanket aside, getting up.
He felt bad that San seemed to be having a rough time with their friends because of him, he usually was cheery and upbeat not sad and upset like this, and worst is he would never turn down a chance to see Wooyoung.
He felt guilty even though he knew that it was San's choice to stay with him and that the younger didn't blame him, but it didn't stop him from feeling guilty.
"It's okay to leave me alone and go be with them, San. I don't mind, really"
"What would you have done, if I hadn't walked in with you the day we came back"
"I wouldn't have told any of you. I would have played it off being sick or something. I'd manage to hide it long enough to last until my mom came back"
"How are you so sure you would have pulled it off?"
"Because Jongho's my next-door neighbor, and he hasn't noticed." Yeosang walked up the stairs whereas San stayed quiet.
His answer had been so simple yet had so much impact, San exhaled for the umpteenth time today before taking out his phone, texting Wooyoung and leaving the house.

06:49 pm
San knocked on Wooyoung's door and entered, his parents were both working late and no one else was home. He saw the boy sitting down at the dinner table and went to sit in front of him on another seat.
No one spoke for the first few minutes, San didn't feel like starting the conversation since Wooyoung was the one that had asked him to come in the first place.
"I'm sorry for how I acted when you came to talk to me when we were at Seonghwa's house"
"Okay, why were you acting like that?"
"I don't know" Wooyoung looked down and frowned. "I guess it's because I barely see you anymore and because I know the reason why that is and I don't like it"
"What would that reason be?"
"Yeosang..."
"You're unbelievable." San rolled his eyes and tsk. Wooyoung looked up and furrowed his eyebrows, he wasn't expecting that answer.
"You spend your time hanging out with a bunch of boys and I never say anything because I know you're naturally cheerful and outgoing. And for once, I'm the one that's close to another boy and you get jealous? Treating me as if I had done something bad"
"I'm not jealous-"
"And with Yeosang of all people, are you that self-centered? He's your friend and he needs us, but you're too involved in your little misery and the fact that for once you don't have my entire attention, to even notice it" San looked at Wooyoung straight into his eyes, he could feel the younger's confidence breaking, but he didn't feel bad. On the contrary, it felt good to finally say what he had on his chest.
"How can you turn this on me? You two have been MIA ever since we came back from that weekend. What happened?"
"It's not my place to say."
"See, you're admitting that you're hiding something from me!"
"I'm not hiding anything; I'm simply choosing not to talk to you about it"
"Really, you see a difference in that?" Wooyoung rolled his eyes and got up, the elder's calm attitude was getting on his nerves.
"Yeah I do. I won't betray Yeosang."
"Look at you talking about him, you two must be a lot closer then we all thought" Wooyoung spat and rolled his eyes, yet again.
"Don't give me any of that, you know damn well there's nothing between me and him"
"How would I know that if nothing's happening between you and I either..."
"That's not on me" San scoffed
"Oh so it's my fault?!" Wooyoung asked in disbelief.
"Of course it is!" San was starting to get worked up and it pissed him off that things were going exactly as he had feared.
"You're never here!! What am I supposed to do, imagine you next to me, holding me and all, huh. Is that it??!" Wooyoung slammed his hands on the table.
"Well maybe if you held me more, I wouldn't feel like I'm the only one with feelings here!"
"Oh please, you know how I feel about you!"
"No, Wooyoung, I don't" San's voice had suddenly gone low and serious which took Wooyoung by surprise. He stopped talking and looked at the ravenette, did he really feel this way?
"I have to go" San's arms fell limp as he turned around to leave.
"San wait-" Wooyoung extended his arm towards the elder but couldn't reach him in time, he was already gone. "Damn it"
