enemies to lovers

part 1

y/n lost herself. Everything they loved had gone. The only father figure they ever had was dead, so was nat; nothing was the same.

After the fight with Thanos, everyone came back to Tony's cabin by the lake. For his funeral. y/n was stood with sam and bucky. Bucky didn't really talk to y/n much, but they knew what he was thinking as they could read his mind. they have kind of a thing, I guess you could say they were 'mortal enemies' but the point is they liked to pick on each other.

y/n's whole life flashed before their eyes - their parents were killed in cold blood right in front of them, they were forced to live on the streets. after all, they had no one else, but Tony took them in when they were a teenager. he bought them into his home and y/n grew up with the avengers.

y/n began to cry, sam comforted them by hugging them really tightly against him. Bucky glanced over at y/n and they locked eyes. His eyes were steel blue, easy to get lost in. you could see the pain in his eyes. He never got to properly apologize to tony for what he did. But Tony knew. Tony knew it wasn't bucky and that it was all hydra.

After the funeral, everyone went back to the compound. y/n's room was next to bucky's, he was always up at night. It's almost like he never slept.

 the first couple of months weren't the same without tony and nat but y/n, sam and peter still found a way to wind Capsicle up.
