Josie's pov

The trash school day ends and I was walking towards my car with my friend, Finch, and Rafael stops his car in front of us
"Hey. Your little Rambo look is out, Josie." He says and I just give him an uninterested look and he clearly doesn't get it and continues
"Didn't you read last month's Cosmo?" He mocks
"Run along." I tell him blantly
I see my sister, Lizzie, walking by with her friend, Dana
"I know you can be overwhelmed, and you can be under whelmed,
but can you everjust be 'whelmed'?" Dana asks Lizzie
"I think you can in Europe." Lizzie replies
I enter my car Finch sits too and Rafael stops his car in front of my sister.
Finch and I watch the interaction from my car.
"Hi,ladies!" He greets them
"Would you szeet young things like a ride?"
Lizzie and Dana nod and hop into his car and he says something along the lines "careful with the leather."
"That's a charming new development." Finch says
"It's disgusting" I tell her
Just when I was about to drive my car a guy on bike I think his name is Ethan crosses my car.

Mg's pov

I wait outside the school and see Ethan almost crash in front of a red car and some girl yells at him
"Remove head from sphincter, then drive!"
Ethan then comes and stops in front of me
"You okay?" I ask him
"Yeah." He replies
"Just a minor encounter with the shrew, that's your girlfriend's sister." He tells me
"That's Lizzie's sister?" I ask
"The mewling, rampalian wretch herself." He says
"Stay cool bro." I tell him
"Yeah see you later." He says

Josie's pov

I drop off Finch and get to my house I spend the time reading in living room and then dad comes in with some letters
"Hey jo, make anyone cry today?" He asks
"Sadly no, but it's only 4:30." I reply
"Hi, daddy" Lizzie says as she enters the living room.
"Hello, precious." He greets back and looks through the letters
"And where have you been" he asks
"Nowhere." Lizzie tells dad
"Hey what's this?" He looks at a letter
"It says Sarah Lawrence." He looks confused
"I got in!" I yell and take the letter from him
"Honey, that's great but isn't Sarah Lawrence on the other side of the country?" He asks
"Thus the basis of its appeal." I say falling back on to the couch and reading the letter
"I thought we decided you were going to stay here and go to school."
He says
"No.YOU decided." I tell him firmly
"Oh, okay, so what, you just pick up and leave, is that it?" He scoffs
"Let's hope so" I tell him still reading the letter
"Ask Lizzie who drove her home today." I say
"Jo, Don't change the..
Who drove you home." My plan worked
"Now, don't get upset, Daddy, but there's this boy..." Lizzie slowly joins her hands and shifts
"And I think he might ask me." Lizzie looks at dad softly before coming beside me on the couch
"Please. I think I know what he's going to ask you. And I think I know the answer. No. It's always no." Dad tells Lizzie
And then turns around to face both of us
"What are the two house rules.
No dating till you graduate and second NO DATING till you graduate. That's it." He tells Lizzie firmly
"But daddy that's so unfair, I'm the only girl in school who's not dating." Lizzie throws her hands up in the air

"No you're not, Josie isn't dating anyone either."  He says

"And I don't intend to." I tell him
" And why is that again?" Dad asks
"Have you seen the unwashed miscreants that go to that school?" I tell him

"Where did you come from? Planet Loser?" Lizzie says
"As opposed to Planet Look At Me, Look At Me." I mock back

"Stop. This is how we solve this, old rule out, new rule in. Lizzie can date when Josie does." He tells us
"But she's a mutant! What if she never dates?" Lizzie says
"Then you'll never date, oh I like that."
He says walking away
"We'll talk about Sarah Lawrence later." He yells from the door
"Fine." I tell him
"Wait daddy." Lizzie rushes behind him
"Gotta go." He waver her off
I make my way to the stairs
"Can't you just find someone to take you to movie so I can have one date." She says
"I'm sorry. Looks like you'll just have to miss out." I start climbing the stairs and I here Lizzie yell
"You suck."
