Spirit Link

3 weeks since me and Lily faced off against what the spirits call a fallen but what caused it was still unknown but that was only the beginning.

The Black Bulls Hideout:

"LUCK" the sound of screaming came from the main hall of the hideout and by the sounds of it the only person it could be was the hot head Magna but as I walked into the room all I see is Magna attacking Luck with his magic. *Do they have to do this first thing in the morning* I thought as I walk over to the bar and grab some breakfast but I soon sense a flare of magic power and head out before finding a group of spirits standing around a small lake just like when I met Lily. "It's just some spirits but why are they all gathering here" I say as me and Lily observe them.

"They are drawn to it because of the mana places like this overflow with it which is why spirits come here but it can also be used to help spirits evolve and gain new magic" Lily explains as we were about to leave until I hear screams coming from behind us only to see a fallen walking into the lake area which forced me and Lily to jump into action. "HEY UGLY" I shout as I jump in front of the spirits and the lake blocking the fallens path before rushing at it while Lily gets the spirits out of there. "Lightning magic thunder dragon into electro shackles" I said as I send a dragon shaped blast at the fallen but as it makes contact it changed into lightning chains holding it in place.

"Not so tough now" I say which was my first mistake as I watch it open it's mouth as I mana flows towards it and soon a masive amount of magic power filled the air before it sends a blast at me. "Oh crap" I said before the sound of an explosion could be heard which caused Lily and the other spirits to stop. *[Fn]* Lily thought as a sense of uneasy filled the air.

Meanwhile my electro shackles spell disappears allowing the fallen to move again but as the smoke clears I appear still standing top torn and blood running down my face. "Don't think you've won your not getting anywhere near those spirits" I say in my weaker state as it vanished before appearing behind me before smacking me away and it begins to make it's way towards the spirits but I quickly act by grabbing it but soon purple marks appear on my skin. "Your not going near them as a magic knight it is my duty to protect this kingdom and everyone in it that includes spirits so GET LOST" I shouted the last part as I give it a toss sending it back the way it came but just doing that took it's toll my body hurt with my strength slowly slipping away.

*Shit whatever it was this fallen gave me is really doing a number me* I thought as I see the purple marks begin to spread causing my breathing to become heavy as I struggle to stay on my feet as my vision slowly becomes blurry before it comes at me with a punch that sends me flying but I stay on my feet. *I need to stand my ground even if it kills me for Lily and the other spirits but my body is in too much pain to move but as Yami always say I need to push passed my limits* I thought as I switch to attack stance as I watch it pull mana towards it's mouth like before. "I refuse to back down so blast me to pieces, slice me to ribbons or burn me till I'm ash but no matter what you do I'll just keep push passed my limits until I defeat you" I say as I pull mana into my right fist before rushing at the fallen with insane speed.

"LIGHTNING MAGIC FIST OF THOR" I shout as the fallen shoots it's attack but my right arm just goes through it forming a huge fist before crashing into the fallen sending it through trees as my spell disappears and the fallen lay on the ground defeated until an eruption of magic power explodes from it followed by a voice saying "kill me" was all I could hear but my body refused to move as the mana begins to come at me until. "SPIRIT MAGIC MANA FIELD" Lily shouts as a force field made of mana protects me as she runs over to me. "What about the others" I say as Lily helps me up to my feet but we soon notice that her spell was not holding up to the sudden burst of mana before it engulfs us.

"The raging mana was about to spread to the other spirits until a light shines in the location it erupted from and soon disappears as I stand there but something was different Lily was gone and I had wings. "What is this" I say to myself as I see the marks on my skin disappear before Liliy speaks to me. "I don't know how but we seem to of activated a spell called spirit link it's basically a fusion spell but it doesn't last long at most it will last a few seconds due to the lack of mana we had" Lily says as my body moves on it's own to avoid an attack from the fallen before I feel a spell.

"Spirit magic fairy sword" I say as a sword made of magic appears before me and I rush the fall slashing it before seeing it return to normal and vanish. "It seem we set it free from it's corruption" Lily says as we split and go from one to two but I soon feel drained and fall asleep in the forest of spirits but Lily never left my side as our new power was going to help many fallen spirits.
