-"Well, you can 'thank' me for this by letting me pay for your stuff, for I would like to not have you

-You end up getting him some candy from Honeydukes and secretly buy him some wand polish from Ollivanders 💃🕺

-Then you two go to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer and just talk with each other about the weirdest things.

-Once you were back to the castle, he would probably just walk with you around the courtyard and have a nice conversation that didn't include "the Butthole Surfers" (it's a real band besties google it)

-"Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what I want to do after school, but I'm thinking maybe something like a teacher here. I've always loved Hogwarts." -y/n

-"We still have time to figure that out. But I'm sure you'd make a great Professor." -Mr. Diggory

-"I would say Transfiguration but I'm 99% sure that McGonagall is immortal and will always have that job, so maybe Charms if Flitwick was no longer teaching. Defense Against the Dark Arts doesn't sound so bad either." -y/n
