I did my last push hearing my babies cry as I threw my head back on the pillow. I'd messed up real bad - getting drunk and sleeping with Kane, Marcus Kane. The man who follows the rules down to the last detail. "Abby, she's okay. She's perfectly fine." Jackson announces happily wrapping my babygirl in a gray blanket, handing her over in my arms.

The door to my quarters creaks open and closed for me to see a panicked Marcus. He locked the door rushing to me with a proud fatherly smile. "She's so beautiful..." The baby sucks on her tiny thumb as Jackson typed out information on a tablet.

"Jackson?" He looked over his shoulder at my voice. "Kane's her father."

Marcus snapped back at my confession. "Abby!" The baby steers in my arms so I have to hum a song to her for her to be perfectly quiet. We didn't have much time before a suprise inspection of guards would be at my doorstep.

Brushing my sticky hair from my eyes I sighed heavily tired. "Jackson, I didn't mean for this to happen. . . but it has. So promise me. That you'll keep this quiet, no one but the three of us can know, promise me." He's my co worker and a trusted friend so I need him to help me hide the fact I'm a mother of a second child.

He stepped up to my bedside glancing down to the girl in my arms. "I'll keep it quiet. You two should have a few minutes alone, I'll be in the hall guarding the door." He grabs his things and exits my room.

"They'll float you, Abby." Marcus blurts out making me cross my eyebrows at his words. "I won't be able to stop that. They'll figure out soon enough."

Tears lightly fall down my face at the thought of me dying in space, the air being sucked from my lungs. Jake losing me, Clarke losing her mother. But somehow when I feel tiny hands take my thumb in theirs I knew I couldn't just give up hope. "No Marcus. . ." His head shot up at my voice shrugging on his jacket to leave. "What?"

"I said no Marcus. I'm going to find a way to avoid getting floated. This child - our child deserves that much. . . She'll take your last name and we can just say you adopted her from the children medical clinic." He strides over sitting down on the edge of my bed, placing a hand on her small stomach.

Our little girl yawns curling closer into my chest going to sleep. "Marcus, she needs a name. . ."

His eyes locked to mine than down to her before he reveals. "Kristin, Kristin Kane. That's our dream."

Planting a kiss to her forehead I lay my head on his shoulder, holding my daughter in my arms finally getting some needed sleep. "Kristin,That's our dream."

Abby was currently busy in medical leaving me to watch our daughter Kristin. The young spiritual girls only ten years old and wanting to adventure through the whole Ark. "Daddy catch me!" Her childish voice giggles poking just her head out from a hole in the floor of my quarters.

Bending on my knees I chuckled brushing her wavy brown blonde hair away from her eyes. "Cleaver girl, my little princess." Picking her up in my arms I carrying her and sit her down on her bed. "Daddy, why can't mom live here with us?" She asked with a pout.
