I woke up the next morning hearing nick and clay both talking. I was going to sit up to show them I was awake when I heard my name.

"So how was it?" Clay asked. "How was what?" Nick asked confused. "The sex dude, I heard you and y/n last night... I didn't know you were into that mommy shit"

Nick scoffed "first of all we didn't have sex and second of all I didn't think I would be until we tried it" clay laughed "seriously man I heard you two last night you might as well just tell me how it was"

"No I'm being serious, we didn't have sex.... I told her I was a virgin" there was a pause before clay spoke "how did she take it?"

"Really well. She told me she doesn't care and we can go slow if I want. So we just had a little fun, no sex... I really like her dude" nick said.

I feel bad for listening in on their conversation but I still decided to pretend i was asleep as clay responded. "That's really good, why don't you just ask her out already, you both clearly like each other."

"Because I'm a fucking mystery to her and I don't want to get into a relationship full of lies" nick replied. "Withholding the truth isn't a lie, you'll tell her eventually."

I can't keep listening in on this, it feels wrong. I slowly started moving trying to pretend like I'm just waking up. I heard someone quickly run out of the room as I turned around and saw nick standing there as he spoke "morning"

I smiled "good morning" Nick quickly sat down on the bed next to me as he spoke "how'd you sleep?" I smiled "really good, so what are we gonna do today?"

Nick smiled "well I was thinking we could have a chill day and just stay here" I smiled as there was a knock at nicks door. Clay slowly opened the door and spoke "morning you two" he said pretending he hasn't talked to Nick this morning.

I just smiled not saying anything as nick spoke "morning dude do you need something?" Clay nodded "I'm picking up McDonald's breakfast you guys want anything?"

Nick nodded "sure get me my usual" clay nodded before looking at me. "Uh can I just get whatever nick gets?" Clay laughed before nick spoke "I get a lot, I don't think you'd be able to eat that much"

I laughed. "Test me bitch I can eat a fuck ton" clay raised an eyebrow "alright I fucking love this girl" I smiled as he walked out and nick looked at me "are you actually gonna be able to eat that much or are you just being stubborn?"

I scoffed "I can actually eat that much but I also just felt like being stubborn" nick nodded "sooooo" I tilted my head "so?" I asked. "I have to tell you something" I raised an eyebrow "are you gonna kill me?"

"Yes" nick said in the most serious tone. I laughed "okay but can you wait until I get my food, I'm kinda hungry" nick laughed in return.

"On a serious note I actually have to tell you something important" I raised an eyebrow "okay.... go on" nick hesitated before continuing "first I just want to put it out there, I completely understand if you think this is weird and you don't want to be friends anymore" I nodded "get on with it, I'm really hungry"

Nick let out a little laugh before continuing "so you remember how I've been keeping my job a secret" I nodded "yeah of course I remember dipshit" nick smiled at my humor before speaking. "Shut the fuck up, this is serious" I smiled "alright alright I'm sorry"

Nick was messing with his fingers looking down at them so I quickly grabbed both his hands pulling them away from each other as he looked into my eyes I spoke. "Why are you so worried?"
