the fact that it was obvious that hwang hyunjin and bang chan hated each other was embarrassing.
they would throw paper balls at each other during algebra and english class, and make extremely snarky remarks towards each other as well.
they've never exactly been .. caught while throwing papers and being smartasses, but today that would change.
the two males were in algebra, throwing papers at each other as always when the teacher noticed chan throwing one.
"chan? what do you think you're doing?"
chan stopped in his tracks, immediately pointing a finger at the pink haired male. "it wasn't me who started it, it was hyunjin!"
hyunjin gasped dramatically, turning towards chan to shut him up. "how on god's green earth did i throw something at you when i'm lightyears away from your goddamn seat!?"
the two began arguing before the teacher slammed her fist on her desk, making them quiet. "both of you have detention after class."
the bell rang and the two males left the classroom, going their separate ways and hoping not to meet again before detention.

hyunjin stumbled into the detention room, scoffing when he saw chan already there.
chan looked at hyunjin, causing the pink haired male to roll his eyes and groan. "and what are you looking at? do you wanna fuck me or some shit?"
chan laughed loudly. "like fucking hell i do! don't get your ego up like that, hwang. it's not good for you, sweetheart."
hyunjin's face flushed at the pet name. he hated chan with all he had, so why was he blushing? "shut up, chan."
the male sat in the desk next to chan, stealing a few glances from him. hyunjin began doing homework, but couldn't exactly focus as he felt someone staring holes into his back.
he turned towards chan, groaning dramatically. "chan, what are you looking at? please, share with the class what is so important!"
"you're .. pretty, hwang. extremely pretty."
hyunjin was taken aback. pretty? he felt a blush appear on his cheeks as he nodded slowly, his knees suddenly going weak.
chan went up behind him, holding his waist gently and caressing his hips. "hm .. cute."
the pink haired male stiffened. "c-chan? what are you d-doing?" he asked, mentally slapping himself for stuttering. chan let out a deep chuckle.
"nothing, i'm just touching you, idiot."
hyunjin leaped out his chair, his blood boiling. "excuse me? i thought you hated me, how are you just going to switch up like that, huh? you fucking asshole!"
chan licked his lips, rolling his eyes. "hwang hyunjin, if you would please calm down? i have something to confess."
"i like you."
hyunjin's face softened. "i like you too.." chan smiled at his words, pulling him into a soft and loving kiss. they kissed for a few minutes before chan pulled away.
"hyunjin, i apologize for being such an asshole in the past, i just honestly didn't know how to tell you that i love you so much."
hyunjin shook his head, smiling. "that's .. okay i suppose. i should have just told you before starting to throw shit at you."
"damn right you should have."
hyunjin laughed at chan's remark, shaking his head. soon enough, the bell rang and detention was over. the two grabbed their bags, walking out of the classroom hand in hand.
maybe hwang hyunjin and bang chan didn't hate each other after all.
