When On Earth Did Watercolour Get So Fun?

Yow people!

So as you may have noticed...chapters have been getting increasingly smaller (lol) and are probably going to get even smaller now (I'm sorry TwT) — and that's because I've already shown you all the premade drawings and stuff at once. So now, and like in the previous chapter (the one before the birthday special), I'm going to be showing you my drawings as I finish them. You know? ^w^

(*cough* I've also got a bundle of exams coming up as I said...so that plays the most part in short chapters too -w- TwT)

ALSO, BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING — I'm still on semi-hiatus...I'm just procrastinating...You didn't see this! Nothing happened! I'M SUPPOSED TO BE STUDYING — SOMEONE HELP — TvT

I'd forgotten how fun watercolours were until I made this TwT.

I was just there like "what on Earth, this is so satisfying!". I think I'd forgotten because I hadn't done watercolour for fun in so long, and the watercolour pieces I had to do in my art classes were sO bOrInG aNd DuLl.

Also I'd never watercoloured an actual person/illustration before, and the colours in Sabito's character design just made it all the more fun >w<

I need to get better at using watercolour though, oOoOf. You can't even see the shading anymore properly. You could when it was wet! But when it dried it kinda faded lol.

(I copied an image too btw. This was purely for fun and just bc I felt like using my watercolours with my watercolour brush pen rather than a paintbrush rofl. And I wanted to do a demon slayer character. And Sabito's design looked appealing. And I'm rambling now, you probably don't even care about any of that XD)

Also his face and proportions look a bit off (oOoF aGaIn) and at some point - because I'd very cleverly outlined him before painting - the fine-liner lines smudged and it looked terrible TwT I had to go over the lines again after the paint dried -w-'

Don't ask why his character design has his hair covering his eyes...because I really don't know XD

I think the li'l girl at the bottom right is my favourite OwO

I drew him first and then decided that the page looked empty, so I drew the little girl in the corner. But the page still looked a little blank, so I added that dude at the top right (idek XD) and then the girl with the...bandage covering her eyes? I don't even know. I was just going with the flow and all those drawings happened XD

Then I wanted to add more to the page so I drew marshmallows and lollipops and...fuzzy fluffy thingies? (I have no idea what those fluffy looking thingies are loolll) And that random cat? at the top just finished a huuuuge meal, and now he's full UwU

Anyway ~

I actually feel kinda satisfied with my drawings at this point in moi life. Though they still need improvement. B i g t i m e .

I need to practice anatomy and stuff more TwT
