A few minutes later, Clement felt all too stiff. Loosening a bit, the whole situation began to seem like an overreaction. There was nothing there that was harming him, no sign of imminent danger. There was just the eerie blue light on the doorframe, but his eyes could have been tricking him. He reached towards the door in wonder, but quickly pulled back before he let himself touch anything. What was he thinking? Anything could be behind that door. Just because nothing had happened yet didn't mean nothing would happen. He would simply have to sit and wait; there was no point in taking the risk of putting himself in harm's way. If anything - or anyone - meant to harm him, surely they would make a move soon. And if they did, Clement would be prepared - at least mentally.
