The beginning

(Ivan's p.o.v)
I was slammed against the wall my back hitting it hard with a loud thump, I was badly injured already almost everything hurt my head ached so bad
I could hardly bare it
I had no choice other than to run away from them
No way was I ganna die to 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦
I quickly got up darted away for my life
This would certainly not be the last time I would see them nor the last of when they would see me
They started to tease me in the distance for running away
Calling me names like "coward" and saying things like "ha looks like I win"
I could only think about how annoying their voice is and how abnoxuis they are
As I ran I could hear the teasing and screams die out
After a long run back to my base
My body still ached
I grabbed my keys and opened the door, I closed the door quietly so I wouldn't make my head ache any worse and threw my jacket on the floor and took off my glasses and put them on the side table
I fell onto the couch and buried my face into one of the soft throw pillows just wanting to take a long nap
"Though day?" A very tired voice asked me
"You sure said it" I said my voice being muffled by the soft pillow
"You know I can't understand you with your voice being muffled like that." The tired voice said
I let out a sigh and lifted my head up restated what I had said
"Well it's not that bad I pulled some strings and got you some new gear." The tired voice tells me
"Thanks Ethan." Told him
"It's what I'm supposed to do, now before I show you, go clean up you look awful." Ethan told me
"I feel awful too" I say slowly getting up from the couch
I walk towards my bedroom
'I wonder what kind of shit Ethan got me' I thought to myself
Ethan is a very tired business man, he's is in his mid early 40's
He is very monotone
I didn't meet him too long ago probably a year or two
I don't know why he helps me but I guess he has his reasons
He can get me some pretty awesome stuff to use when I'm fighting or blowing things up but I digress
I go to my room and take a pretty quick shower and change into some comfy lounge clothes and bandaged myself up
I grabbed some medicine to help with my head ache
I left my room and walked into the garage I saw something that would turn the odds in my favor
"This is ganna be perfect!" I exclaimed
I laughed
"Ah, I can't wait to use this"
"Yeah I thought you would react like that." Ethan told me

(Aurora's p.o.v)
I slammed them against the wall I could hear their back hitting the wall hard with a loud thumb
They were already badly injured and I only had minor injuries so I had the upper hand on them
They suddenly got up and ran in a bolt
I laughed at them and started to tease them
"Ha take that!"
"Loser!"
Yelling different stuff like that
Once I couldn't see them I ran to go help the injured and screaming people
I saved the majority of them but of course I can't save everyone
Probably 1,000 people died but that's better than the last time
I'm only one person after all
When I got home I was completely out of breath
I opened the door and immediately got hugged by my wife leaving my keys hanging in the door
"I'm so glad your okay" she said in the sweetest voice I ever heard
I laughed "of course I'm okay they never stood a chance!"
She giggled "your always so confident"
"God you're just the sweetest and the best wife I could ask for" I told her hugging her tighter
"No that's you"
"Mmmm nah that your better, Akuri"
"Mhm suurreee" she said with a tone that sounded very sarcastic
"Well what do you want for dinner I can make whatever you want" Akuri said to me
"No I'm ganna make dinner" I told her as I let her go of the hug and ran into the kitchen
I could her her laughing as she grabbed my keys out of the front door and closed and locked it
"DON'T LEAVE THE KEYS IN THE DOOR AGIAN!" I heard her yelling
I laughed as I already started to make dinner
I wasn't the best cook ever I definitely thought my wife was a better cook but I didn't want her to do all the work seeing that she paid the bills because I didn't have a job all I did was help people which of course offered zero pay
But that's the reason I help
The difference between me and police is I don't get pay
I don't care about pay
I get to help people without getting anything in return which is how I like it
I was broken from my thoughts as my wife hugged me from behind
"Hey how's dinner coming along?" Akuri asked
"I just barley started so your ganna have to wait" I Booped her on the nose
She gave me a quick kiss and went into the living room
We didn't have too big of a house all it really had was a small living room, a decent sized kitchen, and a master bedroom that was about it
I was happy with my life so I became a "hero" to help people who don't have a happy life or try to make sure their life doesn't end short all because some dick thinks it's fun to hurt people
I finished making dinner after a while and ate it with my wife in the living room while watching a movie
