The Chemistry Between Us

Bill sat quietly in his laboratory waiting for Channing. He was excited to show his best friend the new project he was working on. After a minute, Channing walked in and Bill started to grin like the cheshire cat.

"Channing, come over here! I've got to show you something!" Bill called.

Channing walked over to Bill, not even a bit surprised at how enthusiastic his friend was. After all, he'd been crazy about science ever since their 7th grade teacher told Bill about plate tectonics.

"LOOK AT THIS SOLUTION I JUST MIXED UP!" Bill screamed in Channing's ear.

Channing looked taken aback.

"Yeah, okay, cool," Channing said, peering down into the beaker thinking that it just looked like one of Bill's normal experiments. But the experiment wasn't normal. This experiment was government funded and of top priority. The United States government wanted, no- needed a love potion. You see, the US was trying to cure cancer before Britain did. And to do so, the US needed funding.

Enter Bill Nye. As one of the Nation's top scientists, Bill was recruited immediately. The US proposed a plan to created a cheap to make, safe, over-the-counter drug that would cause great feelings of love in its users. This new drug's profit would be so great that it would fund a cancer research program for years. Bill knew he could do it, and so he did.

Bill was very excited to show channing his newest potion... He'd been spending days in his lab, only sleeping or eating when it was absolutely necessary. The potion was truly very simple, it was only a matter of finding out how long the hormone oxytocin stays in your system and how to make it react with another (potion induced) oxytocin hormone in someone else's body. Oxytocin is released when people fall in love, and the potion was supposed to release a large amount of oxytocin for a very short period of time; That way when two people take the potion at the same time and are isolated from anyone else, the two people will fall in love.

And Bill had finally figured it out. All he needed was a human test subject.

A/N - Hey guys! This is my first story on Wattpad and let's just take a minute to think about the fact that I'm making my debut with a Bill Nye and Channing Tatum fanfic... Obviously I'm insane. :D So this story was a stupid concept my friend, the Shaved Ape, and I came up with a few months ago and tonight, I was like what's the hell, let's do it.
