⚠TW: SUICIDAL THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS⚠

_Y/N'S POV_

I woke up to the sound of the castle door slamming. I walked out of my room to find out what the commotion was. It was Clay coming back from something. 

"Clay? What's wrong?"

"Nothing y/n, you should go back to bed you look tired." He said hiding what looked to be... flint & steel?

"Yea I just woke up two seconds ago" Clay nodded and stormed off towards his room. Weird. 

_TIMESKIP_

It had been 6 days since i talked to Clay ever since he walked in the castle with a flint & steel. He better not have hurt Tommy. I would never forgive myself for putting him in danger like that.  A lot of times, I've had to stop myself from going out of my room with Tommy's hoodie on. I know I shouldn't in front of Clay but it's so comfy and it smells like him.  I knocked on his door waiting for a reply. He opened it asking what I wanted.

"Could we talk?" He nodded and let me in. I sat on the couch.

"What?"

"6 days ago you walked in the castle with flint & steel behind your back. What did you do?!"

"uhm"

"And don't think about lying"

"fine, I went to L'manburg" My heart jumped to the thought of him hurting Tommy.

"YOU BETTER NOT HAVE HURT TOMMY!" I yelled. 

"relax! he hurt himself y'know"

"what did you do."

"i just wanted to keep them away from you. It was a warning-"

"What. did. you. do."

"i lit Wilbur's stable on fire. Before you get all snappy, it was an.... accident. All the livestock were okay but a blue sheep was stuck there so tommy ran in to save it. I was gone by then so I don't know if he came out or not." His voice got high pitched at the end.

"WHAT THE FUCK CLAY?! AFTER ALL THE TIMES OF YOU TELLING ME NOT TO GO NEAR THAT PLACE, YOU JUST GO AND COMMIT ARSON?! ARE YOU ASKING FOR ANOTHER WAR?!"

"IM DOING IT TO PROTECT YOU, Y/N!!  I don't like you meeting up with Tommy okay?!" I rolled my eyes and slammed the door. I stomped in to my room, locking the door and going into the bathroom. I stared at Tommy's hoodie on the bed, remembering the talks we had and how much butterflies I got when he was around him and how I could relate to him so much. Now I don't even know if he's alive. He could be dead and it's all my fault.

I should've never gone out that night, then I wouldn't have met Tommy and put him & his family in danger. I glared at the blade near the sink from the time that my brother was in prison and I thought it was my fault. Guess not. But, if I'm just gonna be a danger to everyone I love, why try? My brother doesn't have to sacrifice everything to protect me if I'm not even here, right?  I picked up the blade when I heard a noise from the window. I decided to ignore it and continued. Then, a hand grabbed my wrist tightly.

"Tommy?" I looked at him, our faces inches apart. "You're alive!?!" I dropped the blade and hugged him. " What're you doing here?"

"I couldn't be away from you." He pulled away and led me out of the bathroom. He sat on my bad as I sat on my desk chair. "What were you doing in there?"

"Dream told me about the shed and how you ran into a burning building to save this blue sheep and that he didn't see if you got out or not. I was so worried that you were hurt or worse. I just think that if I'm not here I wouldn't be such a danger to you and your family because it's all my fault that Clay did that. I'm so sorry that I put your family in danger and you probably have your own problems to deal with." He sighed and took my hand.

"First of all, Dream lied, Wilbur actually went in, he ended up hurting his arm, but it's getting better. Second of all, It's not your fault that he found out, its mine. I chose to leave the hoodie here and you're not responsible for your brother's actions, he his. Third of all, You're not bothering anyone by telling them the shit you're going through. You're never expected to go through things by yourself. I'll always be here for you." I gave him another hug and he led me to the L'manburg castle. We sneaked to his room and turned on a movie. Tommy got snacks and  blankets. We sat on the couch and I was .5 inches away from snuggling into him but I fought the temptation.
