This doesn't align with the main school year because it's a special chapter.

 It was hot.

 Very hot.

 Extremely hot. How could the temperature be so high? It was literally raining a week ago, and the sudden change of weather was too much for Y/N to handle.

 "Oh my Archons," They groaned, laying facedown on the couch. They hadn't installed the AC, so the house might as well be on fire.

 "Oh, Matsutake, I could use a miracle right about now." Y/N scratched the cat's back as it curled in the opposite corner of the couch. "If only there was something to help with this h-"

 The thought was interrupted by a knock at the door.

 "The door is open!" Y/N yelled, sitting up.

 The door burst open and the sound of flip-flops could be heard on the hardwood floors. The footsteps came over to the couch and stopped next to Y/N.

 "Y/N! Are you ok? You look...hot."

 Y/N turned to see none other than Klee, donning a red striped bathing suit and red shorts.

 "Klee? What are you doing here?" They shook their head in surprise, staring at the girl.

 "Hehehe!" She laughed with a smile. "Weeeell, Klee wanted to invite you to the beach with Barbara and Jean! You look very very hot, so Klee thinks you're coming?"

 "Yes. YES. I am 100% going to join you at the beach." Y/N sprung up from the couch, causing Klee to laugh again. "Do I need to bring anything?"

 "Mmm...a towel and Klee thinks a swimsuit?" She shrugged. "Jean has everything else."

 "Ok, gimme a sec." Y/N bounded up the stairs into their room to change and grab a towel. They decided some shorts and tee would suffice, since they didn't have a swimsuit that fit anymore. Y/N slid into their flip-flops and ran back down the living room, towel under arm. "Ready!"

 "Great! Just follow Klee and we'll be on our way!" Klee tightened her grip on the straps of her backpack and hoisted it higher up on her back. "Is Dodoco still on there?" She looked behind at Y/N.

 "Mhm, she's nice and secure!" Y/N nodded to give the girl affirmation.

 "Alrighty! Let's go!" She exited the house with Y/N close behind. They locked the door and descended the steps, stepping onto the main path.

 "Klee is VERY glad that you came, because Jean invited Ms. Lisa and said that they needed grown up time, so Klee would've had to play with only Barbara."

 "Ah, are you upset Barbara is coming? You want me all to yourself, huh?" Y/N pinched her cheek jokingly.

 Klee shook her head. "No no! Klee loves Barbara! She's the best! I just play with her all the time though!"

 Y/N laughed. "If you say so."

 Klee stopped in front of a large brick building. "This is the Favonius Council's headquarters! They have a biiig place outside of school." She smiled. "Everyone here is the best!"

 "It looks very peaceful." Y/N nodded. "But do they have AC?"

 "Yea, Klee was juuuuust in here! It's nice and cool!" She beamed, a chip in her tooth being revealed. "Let's go, Jean is waiting!"

 She pushed the doors open and ran inside, immediately running upstairs. Y/N walked into the building, their body met by cold air. Ah. Nice.

 "Y/N!!!" A chipper voice came from the stairs. Y/N gasped they could recognize that voice anywhere.
