The teachers also saw it, and I'm glad that it made them what they had been ignoring. This morning, during the assembly, our principal announced that there would be a new counselling program available called "Get Help". From my posts, many of the teachers came to realise that many of the other students were going through the same thing. They decided to add a course on the dangers of cyberbullying to the curriculum. In fact, many schools have begun to follow suit. That way people would learn how to use social media responsibly.I wanted to make sure that no one gets hurt like Sophia anymore and didn't expect that my simple post would go viral and lead to greater awareness in the online community. Sometimes a small act can make a big difference. After all, love can go just as viral as hate.
