Chapter 1

Kyoka POV

My name is Kyoka Jiro. When I was seven years old my parents were killed by heroes in an villain incident, and I was thrown into foster care, life was miserable until one fateful day, the day I decided to end it all.

"This building looks tall enough." I said looking up at the top of a thirty story building.

As I ascended the staircase all I could think was. 'Momma, papa, I'll see you soon.'

I was finally standing at the edge of the roof, I couldn't help but say to myself. "Life is shit, but in just a little while I won't have to worry about that anymore."

As I took my shoes off and walked towards the edge I heard someone scream." STOP, DON'T DO IT!"

As I turned and looked it was a short boy, around my age he had curly green hair and green eyes."What right do you have to tell me what I can and can't do, I've been through a living hell for so long I want it to end, I have no friends no family I-it isn't fair!" I said choking up at the end.

The boy just looked at me before tears started falling from his cheeks. "W-why are you crying." I asked dumbfounded.

"B-because y-you remind me of m-me, p-please don't j-jump I-if anyone should jump it should b-be m-me. I'm quirk less, my family treats me like trash, and I-I don't have any friends either s-so p-please!" The boy said as he ran towards me and embraced me.

The hug was genuine and warm as he cried into my shoulder I returned the hug and began to cry as well, we stayed that way for around thirty minutes a crying sobbing mess before either of us said a word."*sniff* W-what's your n-name?" I asked trying to stop crying

"I-izuku." He said looking up at me teary eyed, I couldn't help but blush at how close he was.

"My name is Kyoka, Kyoka Jiro. I-it's nice to meet you Izuku." I said finally calming down.

"I-it's nice to meet you too Jiro. I just wish we both weren't about to jump for us to meet each other." Izuku said breathing slowly.

"Izuku would you be my first friend?" I asked looking him in his emerald eyes.

"R-really you'd be friends w-with a q-quirk less?" Izuku asked in shock.

"Quirk less smercless, I don't care about something as stupid as that, so will you be my friend or not?" I asked waiting intently for an answer.

"Yes I'd love to be your friend!" Izuku said with an adorable amount of excitement in his voice.

'Adorable?' I thought to myself.

"Come on let's get off this roof." I said taking izuku by the hand.

After that we started hanging out every day for over a year, we would go to arcades the mall heck we'd just walk around town aimlessly, until I finally had the courage to ask.

"Hey Kyo where do you want to go today?"izuku asked as he ran up to me.

"About that Izuku, I have a question for you if you don't mind?" I asked tapping the tips of my jacks together nervously.

"Sure Kyo anything for you." Izuku said with that amazing smile of his.

"Really. thanks Izu, so Umm my question is w-would y-you g-go o-out with m-me?" I asked closing my eyes and pointing my head toward the ground.

"But isn't that what we are doing right now Kyo." Izuku said tilting his head to the side.

I was shocked and dumbfounded by this was he that innocent.

"N-no Izuku not like go out somewhere, like w-would you be my b-boyfriend?" I asked yet again tapping my jacks together while grabbing Izuku by the hand which caused him to blush.

"O-oh I-I-I'd l-love t-to k-Kyoka." Izuku said in a stuttering mess.

A wave of happiness washed over me at this, the boy I liked likes me back. "Come on Izu let's go do something fun." I said squeezing his hand gently.

"So where are we going Kyo?" Izuku asked me while we started to walk.

"To the arcade Izu!" I said with excitement in my voice.

As we walked I couldn't get it out of my mind how happy I was, the most important person to me my best friend was now my boyfriend, things couldn't get any better.

"We're here Kyo." Izuku said snapping me out of my stupor.

"Already? Let's have some fun Izu." I said pulling izuku through the doors.

"What do you wanna do first kyo." Izuku asked looking around the arcade we frequented.

"How about the racing game Izu?"I said looking Izuku in the eyes.

"Sounds like fun Kyo." Izuku said pulling me towards the token machine.

After purchasing our tokens we proceeded into the arcade. First we played street fighter which I dominated at it, then we played skeeball Izuku beat me at that game by a long shot, and finally we played a racing game which I won three to one.

"This is so much fun kyo!" Izuku said grabbing me by the hand.

"It really is Izu. What do you want to do now?" I asked pullinghim closer to me.

"How about we go to a cafe kyo?" Izuku said looking me in the eyes.

"Sounds great Izu!" I said as we began to walk towards the exit.

Little did we know something so simple would change our lives forever.
