after that everyone talked a little longer until they went in their rooms and y/n and tony was sitting on the floor and she looked up at him

Y: hey i know you say you love me or whatever but do you ever think we're better off as just best friends
Tony: what makes you say that
Y: i don't know it's just i always have so much fun with you when we're just friends and i feel like dating breaks our friendship
Tony: yea but what makes you think of this now is it because of ko-
Y: no tony i promise it's not i just love you as a best friend and you make me so happy when we have fun but i just don't think another relationship is good for my mental health now i might come back and change my mind but as of right now i just don't think i should i'm sorry
Tony: don't ever be sorry for putting yourself first i understand and if you think it'll just take time i'll wait and if not i'll move on but you'll always be my best friend
Y: always

tony hugged y/n and she hugged him back then they heard noises downstairs so they got up walking down there and when they did they noticed the others walked down there as well and they were all looking at kobe hovering over leona tickling her while she laughed and when they noticed everyone they stopped then everyone's eyes moved from them to y/n and she just moved her tongue around in her mouth looking off then she walked back upstairs and the girls followed behind her

Kobe: what's wrong with her
Sam: nothing man just keep it down
Kobe: ok my bad

the boys all just went to their own rooms while y/n was on her bed just sitting there while the girls talked to her

Y: guys i'm fine for real
Peyton: if you're fine you wouldn't have walked off
Y: i walked off because he's doing the same shit with her that he did with me it just pissed me off that doesn't mean i'm not fine he's moving on good for him and i'm...i have no idea
Kitra: you're moving on as well you're doing good
Y: sure
Kitra: come on y/n just me and you and a nice car ride
Y: fine

y/n got up and kitra grabbed her hand then they walked downstairs and out the door getting in her car and driving off they drove until they were on the highway then they rolled the windows down with their hair flapping all over their face and they turned the radio all the way up listening to good days by sza y/n was just in the passenger seat with her hand out the window letting it loosely fly through the wind and she was just looking at it peacefully then the car came to a smooth stop and they got out leaning against the railing of a waterfall not looking at the water just looking at the sky and the stars and that's when they saw a shooting star fly by and they closed their eyes making a wish

Kitra: so what you wish for
Y: can't tell you or it won't come true
Kitra: well i'll tell you i wished for someone who'll be by my side even when i do them wrong but their heart is so pure they'll let me back in and they'll be the best person to ever have by my side and i'll fall for them faster than i thought was possible and we spend many beautiful and peaceful nights together
Y: you told me your wish now it won't come true
Kitra: it already has
Y: in that case i wished for a person to always be there for me and not treat me like dirt like everyone else i asked for someone who loves me and only me and doesn't play me someone who'll i'll have a real spiritual connection with but i'm starting to think that's too much to ask for

kitra looked at y/n seeing she was now looking down into the water then she sat down and kitra sat next to her

Y: tony said something earlier when he was mad he said that i'm the problem in my relationships-
Kitra: he was just mad he didn't mean it
Y: he did though and i'm starting to think he's right it's only the relationships i get in that don't work whenever someone i've been with moves on they do great for themselves kitra i'm the problem
Kitra: no you're not you just haven't found someone that has the same vibe as you but once you do i'm sure everything will be fine you just date people who aren't right for you maybe the person who's best for you is the person you least expect

kitra placed her hand on top of y/ns and she just looked at her while she looked back then when kitra started leaning in someone called y/ns name so she turned around seeing a guy she's never seen before and she stood up dusting off her pants

Y: i'm sorry do i know you
Brian: well kind of but not really
Y: so no
Brian: no you do know me well i know you but it's the same you know me i think
Y: ok
Brian: i'm messing this up so bad can we start over
Y: no it's cute but yea go for it
Brian: i'm brian i had history class with you
Y: oh i remember you brian jackson i used to always get your help with my missing assignments freshman year
Brian: yea that's me it's crazy i bumped into you
Y: yea it is what are you doing over here
Brian: getting used to this part of town
Y: yea you did move away for three years or so right
Brian: yea i did
Y: what was up with that if you don't mind me asking
Brian: just minor family inconveniences i would love to tell you about it maybe over i don't want to sound cringy but coffee maybe
Y: yea i'd love to have coffee with you
