Minho x Reader

"Y/N" Minho said and you felt his hand close around yours. You look up to him to see a smile on his face. Despite the situation you're in, you managed to smile back. You and Minho got stuck in the maze because of you. You felt so ashamed and angry at yourself. And if anything happens to Minho, it'll all be your fault

"Y/N stop being so hard on yourself. I know that look" Minho said as he placed a hand underneath your chin and lifted your face up to meet his "We're gonna be okay"

You nodded and said "I'm...sorry"

Minho smiled sadly "Its alright...I'm not mad...Though I will be if you get hurt" he said

You look up to see worry reflected in those eyes of his
Whir whir click click

"You is a fine ass chick" Minho murmured in your ear, trying to make a joke. You elbowed Minho and saw that he was smirking

"Should we run now?" You ask, rolling your eyes

"I will, if the finish line is at your heart" he said and wiggled his eye brows up and down

You hit his arm "Minho I'm serious here!" You complained, your face red with embarrassment

"So am I" he said

You were about to shoot back a reply when the Griever came into view

"We should run now" Minho said and grabbed your arm

"Duh" was all you could say as you ran with him

The shrieks of the Griever echoed around as you urged your legs to run faster. You felt tired but you didn't stop. Minho shot a glance at you and saw your efforts at breathing. He knew that you couldn't breathe well if you're tired. And as he thought about it he heard you cough. You didn't want to stop but it felt as if your lungs were burning and that someone was stepping on your chest. You were forced to stop and slump down on the ground, wheezing and out of breath. You hated making those noises you often make whenever you find it hard to breathe. It makes you feel weak

"Y/N?" Minho asked, worry now in his voice

You couldn't say anything. You just sat there doing your best to breathe normally. Minho placed a hand on your shoulder and looked at you worriedly. Your eyes widened as you heard the scrape of metal against stone. You looked at Minho and your eyes screamed for him to leave. Minho knew you too well to understand what you were saying through your eyes "I'm not leaving you" he said stubbornly and stood up. You coughed "Min..ho" you mutter and raised your hands up "I can...run now.."

Minho thought for awhile and then placed his pack in front of him. He crouched down, his back facing you and said "Wrap your arms 'round me" You hesitated at first but saw the glint of metal so you hurriedly did what he told you. He let you wrap your legs around his waist and he started running as fast as he could without throwing you off his back. You held onto him as he ran on. Never even stopping "You okay?" You ask him after a few moments. You saw him nod, adjusted you a bit and continued "You can stop now you know..." You whisper. But the boy didn't show any recognition that he heard you. He just went on, occasionally taking a sharp turn. You sigh and leaned on his shoulder "Thank you Minho...for being my friend" you mumble. You weren't sure wether he heard you or not so you just remained silent. After a few seconds, the boy spoke, his words melting your heart

"I should be the one thanking you. My life completely changed when you arrived Y/N. And it changed in the best way possible. Even though you're not exactly the sexiest woman for other people's eyes," you hit his back as you hear him chuckle "You're definetly the most beautiful person in this whole shucking world" You smile and saw that his eyes were on the ground and his face was bright red. You think it was cute for the Keeper of the Runners to blush and act all sweet. You almost bursted out laughing as you hear him say the next statement "I would love to shucking kiss you right now but I'm afraid that if I stop, a Griever will get that first kiss before me" Minho chuckled but stopped as you leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. He went silent and you smirk "Did I, Y/N, managed to make Minho, King of Sass, speechless?" You laugh as you saw him roll his eyes "I really want to just shove you up the wall and kiss you right now" Minho retorted and there was a mischevious glint in his eyes "I'll make sure that you'll have a punishment when we get out. After all, its your fault why we even ended up here in the first place" Minho smirked as you pout

"Not fair" you whine

"Nothing's fair in love and war Y/N" Minho said as he slowed down "And I think that its time for a break"

You slide off his back and was about to open your canteen of water when you found his lips latched against yours. You felt something stir up inside of you as your lips moved in synchronization with his movements. Two bodies, two hearts, all beating as one
If this is love, you thought as Minho had you pressed in a wall and was kissing you hungrily Then I'd give anything for everyday to be like this

"I love you, Y/N" Minho said, slightly out of breath

"I love you so shucking much" you said, and this time, without having a second thought, you were the one who leaned in and kissed him once more
