The Dark One (Dark Pit X Reader)

Finally noticing

In the end Dark Pit had carried the 'sick' girl to her room without any complaints. The walk there was quite nice and the two enjoyed eachothers company. For the first time they weren't trying to bite eachothers heads off

They arrived at her room and Pittoo gently placed her on the bed and pulled the covers all the way up to her head which she responded with a huff

"Stop that!" She laughed and forcefully tugged down the covers. Dark Pit chuckled at her and let a small tint of red spread on his face. He actually felt happy. But he decided to think of that later, now he wanted to know why she cornered Emm like a tiger

He slowly sat down on the bed and looked at her "So..." he started "mind telling me why you attacked Emm like that?"

Looking as if she was slapped in the face, (Y/N) shot her eyes open and stared at him "She hurt Mania." She said in a very monotone voice

Tilting his head to the side he wondered why the little girl would do such a thing
"How the heck did a child hurt the literal eater of the underworld"

"She didn't hurt her physically,no, she did it emotionally. You know how mentally unstable Mania is, she gets influenced easily." She said with a sigh

The two sat in silence after that conversation and listened to the outside world. Dark Pit looked up once he heard shuffling in the bed. (Y/N) had turned her back towards him and fell asleep

He nudged her a little but to see if she was awake but no, she was knocked out like a baby. Her slow breathing filled the room and he just stared dumbfounded at the girl

"Her hair..."

He brought his hand up and slowly started to brush her hair gently. The hair wasn't soft or silky... for all the years she spent fighting had made her become dull, in both physical and mental. But it was obvious that she was slowly opening up to the joy around her

If only he could be a part of her joy...

"Have a nice sleep..." he whispered and slowly got up "Love you-"

"Ay what-"
"BYE!"

The dark boy had bolted out of the room like lightning, so fast that you could've thought phosphora had come
(Y/N) quickly stood up in her bed and stared at the door with wide eyes. She could feel herself getting giddy, it was as if butterflies were in her stomach

She held her face in embarrassment, hoping that what he had said wasn't a manifestation of her fever. The flustered girl just plopped back down on her bed and let her happiness take over

Not being able to handle it she threw the covers off her and started to chase after the boy. She heard him, she was sure. This would not go unnoticed she will find him
'Why does this sound like a revenge plot'

Chuckling at her thoughts she flew up to see where Dark Pit had gone to. She saw him walking alone but Reipa and Sean were in the view

Not caring about the audience she quickly flew downwards and crashed into him. The two yelped when they fell down to the ground

(Y/N) had pinned him to the ground with her hands at the side of his head. The boy's face was full on crimson while the girl was staring at him with bright eyes

Reipa and Sean squealed and held eachothers hand in joy. Hoping that their ship was finally sailing.

(Y/N) took a sharp inhale of breath and shouted at his face
"I like you too!" She said

The whole place fell into an awkward silence as they stared at eachother

Dark Pit was still blushing madly while processing the things she said

It happened all too quick when she quickly holsted him up and gave a bear hug. She heard squeals happening around them but she didn't care. Finally her chest felt relieved and she was free

"Woohoo!" A voice boomed from the crowd and the others saw the queen of the forests Viridi clapping her hands in glee

"Finally! You two came to the realization!" She said as she approached the two, Palutena following behind her

"We should get a marriage ready!" The queen of light said while separating the two.
Mania and Pit were also in the group as they all cheered on their friend

"Whoa whoa wait! What is happening!" Dark Pit suddenly yelled making everyone stop

He quickly walked over to the girl who just confessed her feelings and grabbed her wrist. He zoomed out of there, leaving everyone to stare at the empty space they once stood

The two came to a stop once they saw they were alone. (Y/N) tried to catch her breath from the stuff that was happening, she was very confused at the moment. Had she misunderstood his words? Did he only tell it as a platonic way? Was she wrong...?

Her thoughts came to a halt when Dark Pit turned towards her with determined eyes. He just stared at her with the most menacing glare she had seen

The girl shrunk under his stare and took a step back
But before she could run away she noticed the opposite boys face slowly turn red as he kept staring at her

"Did you mean that?!" He yelled out suddenly, making her flinch

"Huh?" She choked out in surprise "What?"
He took another step forward as she took one back
"You heard me!" He said, refusing to repeat what he just asked. The two just looked at eachother with shocked eyes

She opened her mouth to speak...

Ok so I'm genuienly sorry I'm just lazy to update this T^T I'm keeping the chapter short because I want the weight of this book off my back
I'm just rushing to end this. I feel like the next chapter would be the last one. After that I'll finish up the extra chapters and say goodbye to this book
I'm really shocked at this books rise because it's literally my first book and my grammar is awful. I'm just genuinely happy that people enjoyed this weird trainwreck of a book. Maybe I'll rewrite this sometime again but it's not anytime soon. I'm really happy like seriously you guys have no idea about how happy I feel whenever I see someone comment or like this book. Thank you for being the (Y/N) of this book for three years. I love you all
