So..about my dads files..

The file..it was her dads..she had to solve who kills him, and then whoever kills him, that person has to be terminated
I looked at her
"Are you okay..?"
"No..no"
She looked at the file again
"That's not-"
She shook her head and slammed the file closed
"Hey it's okay..let's get some lunch then focus on this more afterwards, okay-?"
"Yeah- good idea.."
She sighed and looked at her hands
She was scared..I could tell she was, she didn't know what was gonna happen or what the result would be, but she was scared for it
I thought to myself
"It's gonna be okay.."
I held her wrist
She grabbed my arm tight and pulled me in for a hug and buried her head into my chest
"Sunshine.."
I kissed her head
The speaker announcements came on:
Everyone working in the cases section, report for lunch
"Hey cmon honey that's us"
I tried to get her up
"I'm not hungry"
She got up and walked past me
My eyes widened a little
"Y/n!"
I called out and ran over to her
"What's wrong?? Talk to me!"
"What if it's someone we know-? My dad- he barely talks to anyone! It has to be someone I know.."
She sighed
I put my hands on her shoulders
"Hey..you don't know that yet. For all we know it could be some random farmer guy!"
I chuckled
She laughed a little with a sniffle
"Yeah your right, I'm sorry for being so over dramatic- let's just go to lunch"
I grabbed her wrist softly as we walked to the lunch room
"Sooo..what do you want to eat? I'll go get it for you?"
She was zoning out, staring out into space
"Y/n."
I waved my hand in front of her
"Hey"
"Shit- sorry- uhm what did you say?"
She asked looking at me
"What would you like for lunch dear?"
I asked again with a small smile
"Hmm..sandwich?"
She asked tilting her head
"You got it!"
I got up and walked over to the sandwich area and got one then got myself a coffee and the same sandwich
"God what if it is someone that we know.."
"Hello Five."
I heard the Handler say
"Is everything okay? You look tense."
She grinned
"I'm fine..?"
I glared at her and walked past her
"What if she set this up.."
I look back at her then shook my head and faced back ahead towards Y/n and sat down
"Peanut butter and jelly?"
I said as I handed her the sandwich
"Mhm!"
She nodded and pulled out marshmallows from her bag and opened her sandwich and put marshmallows in then ate it
"much better"
