this is a hanahaki fanfic, so it's going

hanahaki is a fictional disease where, if
you fall in love with someone and it is
unrequited, flowers and thorns grow in
your heart and lungs, and you cough them
up until you choke on your own blood and 
flowers, or you suffocate. the only cure in my
fanfic is the love being returned. 

in this world, hanahaki is very, very rare.
