ARSHI: STAR CROSSED LOVERS

Part 5

 When they were out and waiting for the elevator, Khushi turned towards Arnav and asked, "Arnavji, aapne waha... waha waise kyu kaha. Kyu kaha ki hum..." [Arnavji, why did... why did you say... why did you say that I'm]and she stopped not knowing how to put it in words. Even she doesn't know why but she's feeling very happy that he said to everyone that she's the love of his life. It felt so beautiful, yet so calm even in his angry voice. It was very soothing for her. On the other hand, Arnav just realized that to all his employees, he said Khushi is the love of his life. He doesn't know why he said that. It just came out of his mouth naturally, it felt real. Yet he's unable to understand his feelings. He said, "Khushi mujhe ek kaam yaad aaya. Tum jao aur saari select karo. Mein tumhe baad mein milunga" [Khushi I just remembered a work. You go and select a saree. I'll meet you later] And Arnav stormed inside his office, even without waiting for her reply.

As soon as he reached his cabin, he yelled for Aman. He said that he's going to Mumbai, for Mehta's project. And asked him to arrange tickets for the very next flight to Mumbai. He immediately went to Shantivan, packed his bag, told Nani that he was going to Mumbai for a project, and asked her to inform his Di. When she asked when he'll return, he didn't reply and just left for the airport. While in AR boutiques, Khushi was waiting for Arnav. She wanted to talk to him about her feelings, she wanted to ask him about his feelings, she wanted to confront why he said that about her. She was very confused, she was no more interested in selecting a sari for her. All her thoughts are filled with Arnav's. Anjali knowing very well, how much her Chotte loves red, chose a red sari for Khushi and a Green one for Paayal. Anjali isn't sure but has little idea that something is brewing between her ever so shy brother Akash and Paayal. So, she chose Akash's favorite green for Paayal.

When they came back, Nani informed Anjali about Arnav. Hearing her, Khushi felt sad. She felt sad that Arnav left without informing and talking to her. All day she was gloomy that Arnav left for Mumbai. And Arnav's condition is also similar to her. He couldn't understand why he said to everyone that he loves Khushi.

He doesn't know if his feelings for her are love or not. If it is love, then how can it be? He met her just a week ago. He doesn't know much about her, yet he feels like he has known her for years. Why is it so hard for him to stay away from her? Why do her hazel eyes always haunt him? There are so many questions, but he has answers for none of them. If he himself doesn't have answers, then what will he answer for her questions. He very well knows that she'll definitely ask why he said to everyone that he loves her and again he has no answer for her question. So, he wanted to go far away from her. But is it possible for him to go away from her? Though he is many miles away from her, he is feeling that she's so close to him. It is taking his everything for him to stop taking the flight to Delhi and rush to her, but he's helpless. Why is everything so difficult and complicated for him?

Anjali who didn't know what happened in the office wondered why her Chotte suddenly left for Mumbai and why her Nanad is so sad. She understood, something has happened but she didn't know what happened. She tried asking Khushi, but she just dodged her queries. She could figure out that Khushi is very sad, but like always is trying hard to hide her pain. She just hoped that everything is fine between her Chotte and Nanad.

Shyam was worried for his sister, he just hoped that his Saale-saheb realizes his feelings soon and not hurt his dear sister. The remaining all were unaware of the situation.

Two days have passed, but the situation is turning worst. No one was unable to connect to Arnav. When Akash was asked about the project, he said that Arnav's presence was not at all needed. The deal was almost finalized, everyone now started to worry for Arnav. The most worried one for Arnav was Khushi and Anjali. Khushi was already facing difficulty in understanding her feelings for Arnav. She has never spoken to any guy, all these feelings are Alien to her. And top to that she didn't know why her heart beats raced, whenever Arnav was close to her. She could very well feel his presence if he was close to her or in nearby surroundings. All these things were beyond her knowledge. She felt even more sad when she remembered that day. She cursed herself for asking Arnav that question after which he vanished. All she did all day was pray to her Devi maiyya to send back Arnav. She wanted to see him once, she wanted to feel his presence. It became very difficult for her to live in Shantivan without Arnav. Every corner made her remember Arnav and he is nowhere to be seen. The poolside which gave her peace now reminded her of him. She even complained about Arnav to his maa. She asked Maa to send her Chotte. Shyam who observed all this got worried for his sister.
