Cold Heart

Frozen in time,

I wish to escape the past.

The more I think about it,

The colder I am.

Unlike the season,

The coldness of the heart remain.

So much I have given,

So much has people taken away.

Leaves fall one by one from a tree,

Trust can no longer be  received.

Detached myself from the real world,

Where society begins to judge you for what you think you cannot deserve.

Blizzards, whirling winds cover up the voids,

Only to be frozen once more.

The air has turned to water,

And water into ice,

Causing layers upon layers of frost,

To cover my heart.

Summer is coming,

Yet my heart will endure with this eternal pain,

A Cold Heart.
