Taehyung wanted this moment to freeze. He couldn't tell how happy he was to have your body wrapped around his arms, with you snuggling in his chest. He wanted the warmth of your body to stay with him forever. He knew he had done wrong with you today and he was very ashamed of his behaviour. He had never ever thought he will behave that way with you but it had broken him when you had accused him of cheating, which he had never done nor he would do.
He knew that day you had totally misunderstood the situation with him and that maid. That day he had followed that maid cause she was behaving weirdly and was looking suspicious. He had followed her thinking that she must be leaking some important information of the palace to other king's. When he had caught hold of her the maid had probably heard you coming. That very moment she had pulled him down by his back of the neck and planted a forceful kiss somehow getting the entrance of his mouth.
Before he could process anything you were already standing their. He had waited for you to show some kind of emotion, he had expected you to scream on him, slap him but you just stood there quietly and had left. He hated that,he hated that how you always tried to hide your true feelings, never showed yourself fully to him. You had just worn the cloak of a queen and it seemed you had no plans of taking it off. Well, atleast not infront of him.
After giving orders to his officials to check everything about that maid fully and fire her immediately after all the process is done but meanwhile keep an eye on her. Then he had went to your room, where you were sleeping on the floor. Shivering with cold, your dress sprawled, makeup ruined by tears. He had put you on your bed and had tucked you but it seemed your dress was too much. So, he had asked your personal maid to change you into something comfy.
Everything was going fine until he got attacked. He was atleast happy that you were by his side but soon that happiness turned into jealousy and anger. He really hated how you and Jungkook were getting close and the fact you were more open with him made his heart clench.
He still remembers the day when he had met you. First he was not at all happy with the whole marriage thing but when he saw you, he knew his parents had made the right choice. He had went to your kingdom and when he was on his way to your father's office he had seen you. It was unofficial and one sided as he just stood in mid of the hallway and had watched you.
You were scolding one of your maids to let her small boy work in the palace with her, to whom you had picked up in your arms. You had lectured the maid about how much education and his play time was important for the little boy.
Taehyung was that very moment head over heels for you. He was impressed how kind you were with people unlike other princesses whom he knew. They never treated their servants like human who were their own people, let alone think about their kids.
He even felt like he had stopped breathing when had seen your beautiful features. No,he was not driven by your beauty, he was driven by your beautiful personality. It was your personality which made you beautiful then you really were.
His dreams thrashed down when you had surpressed your real personality when you met him. It seemed like you were not the same Y/N he had seen playing around with children, reading in library, baking for her father, debating with officials over various topics. He had gotten a little bit introduction to your personality between his stay at your palace before your father had officially asked both of you to meet.
When he met you it seemed you were some kind of robot, you only spoke what your parents had taught you. Usually talks between you both were of Kingdom, people, allies and all. He waited 6 months, to you to open up to him. You both were engaged with him during Taehyung's stay and after 6 months had got married.
He had really started to hate your queen personality, which you pulled up without any difficulty. He hated how you never talked about him, yourself, about your future together. He had started to get irritated in those 6 months, waiting for you to take a step in his life but it never happened. He was sure that you didn't saw him how he saw you. Maybe you thought he was just an arranged marriaged husband, and your relationship was only for political benefits,which ofcouse was but for him you had become love of his life.
Not getting his feelings reciprocated from you had made him frustrated, irritated and most importantly he was very hurt. He had slowly started to turn cold towards to you and a day came when he had finally turned cold towards you. He didn't want to do that but at the same time he didn't want his feelings to get hurt. He was just being cold and rude to protect himself, his feelings. It was very selfish, a coward move but he didn't saw any other option.
Those feelings came back when he saw you laughing and enjoying you with other man. Well, those feelings had never gone and they once again made him feel he was just not perfect for you, he was not the one for you. He just wished once you will talk to him freely, like his wife and not the queen of his kingdom.
That's why Taehyung wanted this moment to stop. He was tired of hiding his feelings for you,it felt like he couldn't do it anymore and right now he couldn't stop himself from hugging you. He really needed this, this affection. This hug was the first physical contact between both of you through your whole married life of 2 years. Even on the wedding day it was just quick peck on the lips. How badly he wished to keep your body's warmth inside you. He just closed his eyes and let him snuggle on the crook of your neck.
You squimered and jumped slightly when his nose touched the bare skin of your neck. You had felt electric running through your whole body and shaked but Taehyung kept you on place by holding you by waist. You didn't know what has gotten into him as he seemed completely sober but his actions didn't. You let your mind and heart go with the flow, cause you knew you were going to cherish this moment but his question made you look up at him with your wide eyes once again.
Taehyung broke the hug and gently held you by your shoulders. He gathered up all his courage and finally decided to speak cause now or never.
